Who is she?

"I'm...sorry for all the confusion I've caused you. You must be wondering who that woman was, right?" Keigo says in a soft, yet somewhat deep voice. You look up at him and answer honestly. "Yes." Keigo sighs and pauses for a moment, preparing himself to explain himself. "Her name is Atashi. I met her a few days ago when you were in the hospital. I'll be honest, I wasn't exactly at my best around that time, and...I made some bad decisions. I was at the bar, just drinking away when...Atashi walked in and asked if she could sit next to me. We found out a few things about each other, I bought her a few drinks, and...well, one thing led to another, and..." You could tell Keigo felt embarrassed and flustered telling you the next few details, but you put two and two together, and it all made sense to you. You gently place your hand on his forearm and give him a reassuring smile. "I understand now. But, why were you in the bar so often?" you asked, not even thinking before speaking. He never mentioned being in the bar for days on end, but you know who did? Eiji. He told you that the day you met up at the cafe. Expectantly, Keigo raises his eyebrow curiously. "Woah. When did I ever say I was at the bar that often?" he asks. You sigh. Luckily, it wasn't really something you had to hide from him. "The day we got surrounded by paparazzi, and Eiji got me away from the crowd, I asked him if he could tell me more about you, and he agreed. He and I talked about you while we were at a cafe, and...he said when we separated, you came to the bar every day. He said that you looked empty and that you only came, had a few drinks, and then went home without a word," you explained to him. Keigo looks at you before looking away with a sad expression on his face. "I was...really worried about you, Y/N. I wanted to visit you when you were in the hospital...but I didn't know if that would upset you or not...I did hurt your feelings after all." You look down for a moment as you think back to the past when Keigo and you got into a fight because of him only trying to warn you about Kosei. Then, your mind goes to right after that incident when Kosei proposed to you and bought you wine and your favorite kind of cake to celebrate when you said yes. Your mind leaps to the next thought. The thought of a week after that incident when you walked into your own home and saw Kosei having sex with your - back then - best friend. "...If anything, I was stupid back then. I was blind, and in turn, you got hurt because of me...and I even hurt myself in the process of that," you say solemnly as you look back up at Keigo, who's still looking away from you with that same frown up until you say those words when he looks back at you with a slightly shocked look on his face, his mouth dangling open a little from it. "Y/N...," he says in a low tone before moving in and nuzzling his head into the opening between your neck and shoulder while hugging you. His arms holding you, his wings covering the both of you like a blanket, his feathers soft to the touch. It felt so nice to you, so relaxing, so comforting. Even so, it's all a shock to you. You wondered why he was hugging you like this, to begin with. "K-Keigo...what are you-" "I'm sorry. Just-...Can we stay like this for a bit?" he interrupts and asks in a slightly pained voice. He seemed like he truly just needed you. He needed your touch for him to calm down. You don't even bother to finish your sentence. Instead, you slowly ease yourself and melt into his embrace. You hold him back in return, placing one hand on the back of his head, and running your fingers through his hair. It's surprisingly fluffy. You can feel his hot breath on your neck. It brought you back to this morning when you woke up in his arms. You feel your cheeks getting hotter, your heart pounding, and, of course, those damn butterflies in your stomach. You wondered if Keigo could feel your heartbeat considering his body is pressed against you, but you just feel him place one of his hands on your waist. He softly caressed your lower back and held you right up against his body. You could kind of feel his hard abs, causing you to blush even more. You and him were getting very comfortable with each other, to say the least. It only made you more afraid, however. You were afraid that if you fell in too deep, you'd only end up getting your heart broken again by Keigo. "U-Um...do you mind if I take a shower? It's...been a long day," you ask nervously, hoping you weren't hurting his feelings. Keigo lets go and looks at you with a soft, understanding smile. "I don't mind at all," he says and lets go of you. The warmth you felt from his arms and wings was gone in an instant. It made you feel somewhat sad, but you didn't wanna develop more feelings for Keigo than you were already feeling. You weren't ready for a new relationship right off the bat, and frankly, you don't think you'll ever be ready after what Kosei and Shiro did to you. You kind of wished that Atashi girl was Keigo's girlfriend and not just a one-night stand. It probably would've been easier to get over him that way. You get up from his bed and leave the room, but right as you reach the door, he stops you by changing the subject and saying, "Hey. Maybe when you get out, you can show me what you got from the mall." You turn to face him and smile. "Sure. I'd be happy to show you," you say back and leave the room completely. You head for the bathroom and close the door behind you. You sigh and close your eyes as you lean on the sink with your hands, trying to compose yourself. You were still blushing from that moment you shared with Keigo. "Stop it, stop it, stop it! Stop catching feelings, Y/N! You know where that gets you!" you try telling yourself in your head. After taking a few deep breaths, you calm down and go to start up hot water for a shower. You undress yourself and walk into the shower, feeling the warm water hit your body immediately. You relaxed a lot more, but being in the shower also made you think and reflect a bit. You flashed back to when you first met Kosei
