The air crackled with tension as Jimin paced the bedroom, his mind racing with thoughts of Y/N and Junwoo. The Lyla's words had left him reeling.
A knock on the door shattered the silence, pulling him from his thoughts. With a sense of apprehension, Jimin crossed the room and opened the door, revealing Lyla standing on the other side.
"Lyla," Jimin said tersely, his voice betraying his frustration. "What do you want?"
Lyla's expression was unreadable as she stepped into the room, her eyes darting around the space. "We need to talk, Jimin. It's about Y/N."
Jimin's heart skipped a beat at the mention of Y/N's name. "What about her?
Lyla's lips curved into a cold smile, sending a shiver down Jimin's spine. "But you might not like what I have to say."
Jimin's patience wore thin as he stared at Lyla, his frustration bubbling to the surface. "Enough with the games, Lyla. If you have something to say, spit it out."
Lyla's smile widened, her eyes glinting with malice. "Very well, Jimin. Since you insist." She paused, relishing the tension in the air before continuing. "Y/N is not who she appears to be."
Jimin's heart clenched at her words, a cold dread settling in the pit of his stomach. "What do you mean? What are you saying about Y/N?"
Lyla's laughter echoed through the room, grating on Jimin's nerves. "Oh, Jimin. You really have no idea, do you? Y/N is not the sweet, innocent woman you think she is. She's been deceiving you all along."
Jimin's mind reeled at the accusation, his thoughts spinning in a whirlwind of confusion and disbelief. "That's impossible. Y/N would never—"
But before he could finish his sentence, Lyla produced a photograph from her purse and thrust it into Jimin's hands. His blood ran cold as he stared at the image, his heart sinking with each passing second.
The photograph depicted Y/N in a compromising position with a man Jimin didn't recognize, their faces twisted in expressions of pleasure and desire. It was a scene straight out of a nightmare, one that shattered Jimin's perception of the woman he loved.
Jimin's hands trembled as he stared at the damning evidence before him, his mind struggling to process the betrayal unfolding before his eyes. "This can't be real," he whispered, his voice barely audible.
But Lyla's laughter rang out, mocking and cruel. "Oh, but it is, Jimin. Y/N has been playing you for a fool this whole time. And now, you finally see her for who she truly is."
With those final words, Lyla turned on her heel and walked away, leaving Jimin alone with his shattered heart and shattered illusions.
---
As Jimin grappled with the shocking revelation, a sense of betrayal and anguish threatened to consume him. He couldn't fathom how Y/N, the woman he loved and trusted with his heart, could deceive him in such a manner.
But as he stared at the photograph in his hands, doubt crept into his mind. Could Lyla be telling the truth, or was this just another ploy to drive a wedge between them?
With a heavy heart, Jimin knew he had to confront Y/N and demand answers. He couldn't let Lyla's words poison his mind and destroy the love they shared.
With resolve burning in his veins, Jimin set out to uncover the truth behind Y/N's deception, no matter the cost. But little did he know, the road ahead would be fraught with heartache, betrayal, and shattered dreams as he faced the ultimate test of love and loyalty.
