Jimin had always been wary of Lyla's sudden reappearance in their lives. Her motives remained shrouded in mystery, and Jimin couldn't shake the feeling that she might have ulterior motives. He remembered the subtle glances and veiled remarks, the undercurrent of tension whenever Y/N was around.

His suspicions grew stronger as he recalled a recent encounter between Lyla and Y/N, a conversation that had left him uneasy.

---

It was a peaceful evening, the soft glow of sunset casting a warm hue over the city skyline. Jimin and Y/N sat on the balcony, sipping tea and enjoying a moment of quiet solitude.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Y/N remarked, her gaze fixed on the horizon. "I could sit here forever."

Jimin smiled, his heart swelling with affection for the woman beside him. "With you, I'd never want to leave."

As they sat together, lost in conversation, Lyla appeared in the doorway, her expression unreadable. "Am I interrupting something?"

Jimin tensed at her sudden appearance, his guard going up instinctively. "No, Lyla. We were just enjoying the view."

Lyla's eyes flickered with something akin to jealousy as she looked at Y/N. "Well, I won't keep you. I just wanted to say goodnight."

With a forced smile, she disappeared back into the house, leaving an uncomfortable silence in her wake.

---

As Jimin recalled the encounter, a sinking feeling settled in the pit of his stomach. The thought was chilling, but Jimin couldn't dismiss it entirely.

Determined to uncover the truth, Jimin confronted Lyla the next morning, his tone firm and unwavering.

"Lyla, we need to talk," he said, his voice laced with a steely resolve.

Lyla's eyes widened in surprise, her façade slipping for a fraction of a second before she regained her composure. "Of course, Jimin. What is it?"

Jimin didn't mince words. "I need to know if you have any plans of causing trouble again?"

Lyla's mask of innocence faltered, her eyes darting away from his gaze. "What? How could you even suggest such a thing?"

But Jimin wasn't fooled by her feigned outrage. "I've noticed the tension between you and Y/N, Lyla. I need to know if you have anything planned."

Lyla's expression hardened. "You always did have a way of blaming me for everything, didn't you? Maybe you should take a closer look at your precious Y/N."

Jimin's blood ran cold at her accusation. "What do you mean?"

But Lyla only smirked a glint of triumph in her eyes. "Oh, you'll find out soon enough. But by then, it'll be too late."

With that cryptic warning, Lyla turned on her heel and walked away, leaving Jimin with more questions than answers.

---

As Jimin grappled with Lyla's cryptic words, a chilling realization dawned on him. Could Y/N be in danger because of Lyla's jealousy and resentment? The thought sent a shiver down his spine, and he knew he had to act fast to find them before it was too late.
