TOMMY sighed once he opened the door to his apartment, he got off work early today and wanted nothing more than to lie down. He had been feeling under the weather since yesterday. His throat dry and hoarse, he felt tired and hot, like extremely hot. Tommy sluggishly walked to his kitchen opening up his fridge and getting a bottle of water out, he only had one left. He made a mental note to go grocery shopping this week. Tommy dragged his body all the way to his room and dropped in the bed not even bothering to take off his clothes or his shoes. Tommy scooted all the way up in the bed until his was leaning on the headboard before he finally opened his bottle of water.
Tommy took a few gulps before closing it back and leaving it on his nightstand. Tommy put both of his hands behind his head looking up at the ceiling before he shut his eyes. He just wanted to get some sleep, he figured that was all he needed. Tommy could feel his phone buzz in his pocket and he weighed the pros and cons of ignoring it. Tommy sighed to himself and just let it ring but right after it ended, his phone started buzzing again.
Tommy groaned sluggishly reaching for his phone in his back pocket as he snatched it out and answered the phone.
"Yo!" Tommy said into he phone aggressively.
"Well excuse you." Naomi joked, Tommy sighed."My bad Naomi, wassup?"
"You don't sound too good, you feel ok?"
"I'm aight, just tired but what's up with you? You straight?" Tommy questioned.
"I just called to let you know that you left your wallet at your station." Naomi told him as Tommy sighed annoyed."Damn, for real? I do not feel like getting that shit right now."
"I'll drop it off to you after I get off." Naomi suggest, Tommy shook his head.
"Nah, I can't ask you to do that just keep it for me and I'll get it later."
"You ain't gonna need your wallet?" Tommy shrugged to himself."I got apply pay if I need anything or I could just order shit online. I'm straight"
"You sure?" Naomi asked.
"Yeah, I am." Tommy reassured her, Tommy laughed a bit."What? You got sticky fingers or some? Gonna rob me" Naomi laughed.
"Ain't nobody robbing yo' ass, don't play with me." Tommy chuckled." Aight then so just keep it for me."
"Hmm ok. I'll talk to you later, I got a customer waiting."
"Bet." Tommy hung up the phone and just threw it right beside him as he got back comfortable. Tommy took a deep breath feeling his nose all clogged up and the side of his head start to ache as he shifted in the bed uncomfortable. Tommy rolled on his right side, yawning. It just wanted to get a good night sleep but the way he was feeling? It seemed possible to even relax much less sleep.
