AUGUST felt his stomach churn as he stared at the office building. He was so close but in his mind those few steps felt like a million. Both his feet felt glued to the floor and he struggled to move them any further, to go any further. He wondered if this was really the best decision, if this was really the right choice for him, for his brothers. What would the outcome be? What would their reaction be? August felt sick to his stomach and he was sweating bullets. His throat dry and his tongue and hands felt numb, he couldn't sleep so he was tired and drained.

He couldn't even eat, nothing could stay down.

All the years of blocking those days out, swallowing the memories, convincing himself nothing happened and that he was fine. What would happen to him when everything came to light? What would happen to his family? His father was already day so what good would it do for him? For them? August ran his hands down his face and shook it all off.

The thoughts, the worry , the anxiety, he shook it all off. He couldn't live like this forever, bury it forever, August didn't want to be broken but he also didn't know how to admit that he was. August put one foot in front of the other before he finally opened the door to the building, the cold breeze hit him as soon as he walked in cooling down his body. He looked around taking in the people that were sitting in chairs, the many doors and hallways as well as the receptionist office.

"Hi, how can I help you?" The receptionist at the front desk said with a welcome smile, August smiled politely.

"I'm here for a therapy appointment, under the name Mr.Moore." August said as she typed on the computer before pursuing her lips together.

"Sir are you aware that you are thirty minutes late?" She asked in a concerned tone, August sighed.

"Yeah, I know..My apologies. How long is the session?"

"An hour and thirty minutes, since there's an hour left let's get you there as soon as possible. Would you like me to escort you?" August nodded."Yeah that'll be nice."

August didn't want to get lost and be even more late, he already felt bad about his brother paying for the session. He was use to paying for everything and anything they needed, and he would definitely pay for any more sessions to come. He wouldn't be able to keep going if he didn't, it's just how he was wired.

The receptionist knocked on the door and at the sound of a female voice saying "Come in" , she opened the door.

"Mrs.Harris, he's here to join the session." Mrs.Harris smiled and pointed to where Shakurr and Tommy were sitting.

"Thank you." August told the receptionist as she smiled and nodded closing the door, August sat down.

  "I apolo-"

"You late." Tommy said angrily looking at August, he couldn't believe someone who preached about being on time and keeping your word was late.

"Im aware of that Tommy." August said , Tommy shook his head angrily."You did the shit on purpose didn't you? You was tryna skip out? I told Shakurr there was-"
