18: The last round!

Arawaru was fast asleep as the 2A class sat in the stands. Everyone talked a little, but Tsuki closed her eyes for a moment. All the excitement had her feel so sleepy.

"Are these the new students?" An almost taunting voice said.

Tsuki opened one eye as Papillon and Gyro looked up from their conversation.
Someone hung over the wall separating their class with another.

"That would be Monoma," Ojiro told Tsuki who realised there were people behind her. She was really getting lazy, why didn't she even bother to check her surroundings? "He's from class 1— I mean, 2B now."

"He's weird," some frog girl said bluntly.

The person climbed over the wall with a smile. "I see not everyone made it to the next round! Is this another win for the superior class I see?!"
So noisy. Arawaru was sleeping here!

"If you don't shut up," Tsuki grumbled, "And let my friend sleep, you won't see anything for a month."

Monoma paused, his mouth in a smile still. "Oh really?"

Tsuki rubbed her eyes a bit tiredly and Ojiro got up.
"Where's Kendo?"

Monoma gave him a glare, "Why would you ask me?"

"Cause she's in your class," frog girl said with a shrug.

"I am here!" Someone with red hair hurried passed the wall and quickly hit the back of Monoma's neck. He collapsed and Kendo dragged him back to the other class.

"Well that was er..." Papillon cleared her throat.

"Interesting," Gyro finished. And that was when Tsuki suddenly got up.

She walked forwards and looked up at the screen. Midoryia now next to her looked up curiously.
Tsuki didnt look away from the screen, "The last round is hand to hand combat, what's his quirk?"

Midoryia jumped up, opening his notebook, "Monoma's quirk allows him to copy quirks in a way. For a limited amount of time he can—"

"How long?"

"From what I know, ten minutes now."

"That's long," Tsuki sighed, "Are there limitations?"

"Some quirks he cannot copy. Like mine," Midoryia pointed at himself, "But others, like Papillon's he can copy."

"Okay...okay." Tsuki nodded, "What can you tell me about Shinso?"

"Oh— but you won't have to fight him," Midoryia said as he looked up at the board.

"Arawaru will," Tsuki said, "And I need him to pass."

"So you can fight him?"

"No, so he can fight Todoroki for me," With a sigh Tsuki sat down, "Think about it, he's the son of pro hero endeavour. He's got a burn scar thing at his eye. I expect he's traumatised and..."

"And?"

"If I fight him I might open old wounds," Tsuki shrugged, "Back then I had fun letting Hawks squirm, but I prefer not to fight another student like that."

"...I see..." Midoryia sat down as well, trying to push passed the weird part, "Let's strategise!"

The first fight started and someone by the name of Kirishima lost from Monoma. The student had a good strategy. With multiple quirks at his side, he could win short fights with ease.

The second round Gyro faced Hatsume Mei. Tsuki's eyes widened when's she realised it was one big ad, but then she smiled when she realised she should have expected that of her. Gyro won because Mei stepped out of bounds once she was finished.
