The sports festival started off with a speech from Bakugo who had won the previous sports festival.
"Just like last year, I'm gonna win.""Unlike last year, we exist," Tsuki said competitively.
"Yeah, no, I need a nap already, so no." Arawaru chuckled awkwardly.
"Imma not try as well," Papillon said as she glanced up at the section of teachers high up in the crowd.
"Okay, so I know it sounds like we're leaving you alone Tsuki," Gyro said with a grimace, "But I was going to annoy Mic—"
"Come on!" Tsuki crossed her arms and turned away from Midnight completely, "You can't do that!"
"Yes we can—" Papillon got a hit on her head from Gyro.
"How about you win for the three of us?" Gyro asked with a smile.
With a sigh Tsuki dropped her arms. "Okay..." Nobody missed the disappointment in her voice.
"The first round!" Midnight called out, "Will be a race around the field! Instead of obstacles it's a race of pure speed!"
"Ah well fuck, that puts so much people at a disadvantage!" Arawaru complained.
"Language! And stop talking!!" Midnight called back at him. Quickly Arawaru put a hand across his mouth, noticing everyone found him in the crowd. Just his luck.
—
"Ah!?" Mic called out when Gyro suddenly appeared at the finish. He waved at the camera, which had to cut off when Gyro suddenly died, you know cause dying wasn't the best idea on screen. "His quirk allows him to revive to his last saved spot! Well done winning the first round!"
Everyone ran across the field. Papillon finished second by launching and catching herself while Arawaru and Tsuki stayed back, running without a good use for their quirk.
"When I say go," Tsuki said nervously, "Sprint."
Arawaru sighed, "I really need that nap though—"
Tsuki took a deep breath and crouched down to the grass below her.
It lit up in all types of colours before reaching all the students around them. "Go," Tsuki said. The lights from around them bounced off her face as around them people burst out in different emotions. Some were crying, others were laughing and yet others were screaming at the tops of their lungs."That would be Tsuki," Aizawa sounded, "Her quirk can be powerful, though it's use isn't that long."
Tsuki sprinted after Arawaru and the two collapsed at the finish. They were far from the top, but they made it to the next round. With a smile Tsuki tried to get up, only to have Arawaru on top of her. "Get off."
"I'm taking a nap now," Arawaru closed his eyes and fell asleep.
"Oh fucking hell...!" Tsuki complained as she gave up and closed her eyes as well.

Outside the building sat a tent like thing, allowing some patrolling heroes to take a break.
"So annoying," Mt. Lady sighed, "Just like last year we're stuck here."
Kamui woods rolled his eyes. "Just like last year you're complaining too much." Next to him someone lit a sigaret and mt. Lady coughed annoyedly,
"It's all their fault." She pointed at the screen playing what was happing on the screen, "Those villain brats shouldn't have been let in in the first place!"
"Kinda mean to say," Kamui sighed, "Nezu gave us a lot of money to keep the grounds safe."
"Who are we keeping safe anyway?" Mt. Lady continued, "The villains are on the field you know."
