Chapter - 16

The lifeboat finally stopped at a deserted island with no people, a large jungle nearby, and many coconut trees. The island was beautiful. Neither of them had woken up throughout the night.

In the morning, Jennie felt something heavy on his chest. He groaned, "Argh," rubbed his eyes, and slowly opened them to see Lisa sleeping with her head on Jennie's chest. Seeing Lisa’s head on his chest brought a smile to Jennie's face.

Jennie started admiring Lisa, but when he noticed the wound on Lisa's forehead, he was about to touch it when he heard the sound of waves. Water was rushing towards them.

When Jennie realized they were not on the yacht but in a lifeboat that had stopped on a deserted island, he became worried. Since the waves were coming, he quickly got up, picked Lisa up in a bridal style, and carried her out of the lifeboat.

Lisa woke up and said, "Ahh, where are you taking me? Put me down."

"Okay, as you wish," Jennie said, dropping her right there. Lisa fell to the ground and screamed, "Ahhh, what the fuck! Why did you drop me like that?"

Jennie frowned and said, "Lili, you told me to put you down, so I did."

Lisa rolled her eyes, got up, and dusted the sand off her body. She still hadn't realized where they were. She said, "Yes, I said put me down, but I didn't mean drop me."

Jennie was about to respond when she saw the lifeboat drifting far away. She sighed and said, "Lili, stop fighting and don't you see? We're stuck on this island."

Lisa looked around and was shocked. "How did we get here?" she asked.

Jennie looked at Lisa and, in an annoyed tone, said, "That's what I should be asking you. How did we get here?" She raised an eyebrow.

Lisa then remembered what had happened the previous night and explained everything to Jennie. Jennie sighed and said, "Okay, don't worry. Everyone must be looking for us. They’ll find us soon."

Lisa’s eyes teared up, and when Jennie saw this, he got closer, hugged Lisa, and said, "Lili, please don't cry. Everything will be alright. Don't worry, I'm here."

Lisa hugged Jennie back, but after a while, she smelled alcohol and broke the hug. She said, "You smell like alcohol. Did you drink last night and then fall asleep in the boat?"

"I don’t remember much, but yes, I did drink," Jennie replied.

"Hmmm, okay, but I'm hungry. What are we going to eat here?" Lisa asked, pouting.

Jennie chuckled at Lisa's cute act and said, "Don't worry, we'll figure something out for your hunger too."

Jennie and Lisa went towards the jungle to search for something to eat.

"Oh my God, so many fruits!" Lisa exclaimed happily when she saw the different fruits in the jungle.

Jennie also saw the fruits and smiled, relieved that they had found something to eat. Then she looked at Lisa and said, "You stay here, I'll climb the tree and pick some fruits."

Lisa pouted and said, "Okay, but come back quickly."

Jennie nodded, climbed the tree, and brought the fruits down to Lisa. Lisa started eating the fruit, and Jennie, seeing her eat like a little kid, smiled and said, "Eat slowly."

Then he climbed a neem tree, broke off a twig to use as a brush, and brushed his teeth. Afterward, he ate some fruit as well.

"I need to drink water," Lisa said, looking at Jennie.

Jennie nodded and said, "Okay, let's head back to the island, but first, let me gather some fruits so we can have them later."

After a while, both returned to the island. Jennie climbed a coconut tree and picked some coconuts since there was no clean water available to drink. Jennie was looking for a sharp stone to open the coconuts, while Lisa watched him.

'Nobody's here; I should confess my love feelings to Jennie,' Lisa thought.

After finding a sharp stone, Jennie made a hole in the coconut to let the water out. Coming back, he gave it to Lisa, who drank first. Then, Jennie drank too, and a drop of water landed on the side of Jennie's lip. Without thinking, Lisa licked the drop off Jennie's side lip with her tongue.

Jennie was frozen in place, shocked by Lisa's action, but Lisa smirked when she saw Jennie's reaction and kissed his lips. Initially stunned, Jennie kissed back after a few seconds. Lisa wrapped her arms around Jennie's back, while Jennie placed one hand on Lisa's back and the other behind her head, deepening the kiss.

They passionately kissed each other until they felt short of breath. When they finally broke the kiss, Lisa hugged Jennie. After their breathing normalized, Lisa confessed, "I love you, Jennie."

Hearing these words from Lisa's mouth, Jennie was overjoyed. With a smile, she asked, "Say it again, please."

Lisa lifted her face and said, "I love you, Jennie Kim."

Jennie smiled and cupped Lisa's face in his hands, saying, "I love you too, Lili."

Then, he kissed her again, this time filled with love, and Lisa reciprocated the kiss.
