Chapter - 30

Three weeks ago, Son Ye Jin suffered a head injury, which caused her to remember everything that had happened 15 years ago when Myun Min blackmailed her into coming to him. Myun Min had loved Son Ye Jin since their university days, but Hyun Bin was a better person, and Son Ye Jin fell in love with him and married him. However, 20 years ago, Myun Min gave her a medicine that prevented her from getting pregnant.

Son Ye Jin secretly sought treatment from a top doctor and eventually became pregnant, giving birth to Jennie. Myun Min did not like this, and five years later, he blackmailed her, threatening to kill Jennie if she did not come to him. Thus, Son Ye Jin left everything behind and went to Myun Min.

Myun Min had a bigger plan. He worked at Hyun Bin's company and derived satisfaction from seeing Hyun Bin in pain, but the one who suffered the most was Jennie, who, at the age of five, was separated from his beloved mother.

When Son Ye Jin was on her way to Myun Min, she had a severe accident that left her in a coma for ten years. Secretly, Myun Min continued her treatment. Five years ago, when Son Ye Jin woke up from the coma, she had lost her memory. Doctors couldn't predict when or if her memory would return.

However, three weeks ago, the head injury triggered her memories. Son Ye Jin now pretends she remembers nothing because she wants revenge on Myun Min for keeping her away from her son and husband for 15 years and lying about being her husband.

Son Ye Jin, once a top lawyer, is now gathering evidence against Myun Min to take him to court. While collecting evidence, she discovered that Myun Min wants to take over Hyun Bin's company, built through his hard work. She is also collecting evidence to thwart Myun Min's plans.

Tomorrow, she plans to leave Myun Min's house and file a case against him, but Myun Min is unaware of her plans. Son Ye Jin, being an intelligent and successful lawyer, has gathered all the necessary evidence against Myun Min and is ready to execute her plan to ruin him.

Jennie had no idea that Kai had planned extensively against him, even having people follow him. Seeing the perfect opportunity to execute his plan, Kai's men had Jennie kidnapped from the bar. They destroyed Jennie's phone, rendering it untraceable. Kai's men knocked Jennie unconscious and took him out of Seoul City. No one knew where Jennie had been taken.

Night fell, and everyone was worried about Jennie. Lisa asked everyone to search for him and asked her dad to track Jennie's location. He said Jennie's last known location was the Star Bar, but his current location was not showing.

Everyone went to the Star Bar, checked the place, and reviewed the CCTV footage. They saw footage of Jennie entering but not leaving, which made them even more anxious.

"Everyone, go home. We will continue searching for Jennie," Seul said to Irene. Irene nodded and said, "But let us know as soon as you find anything." Seul nodded in agreement.

Irene looked at Lisa, who was crying, and hugged her, saying, "Don't worry. We'll find Jennie. Don't cry."

Lisa hugged Irene and said, "This is all my fault. If I hadn't been mad at Jennie, he wouldn't have gone to the bar and gotten into this situation."

"Lisa, don't blame yourself. This isn't your fault, and we'll find Jennie," Rose reassured her.

"Yeah, Rose is right. Don't blame yourself," Karina added softly.

All their friends were upset seeing Lisa cry. They took her home. Mrs. Manoban hugged Lisa and said, "Everything will be okay. We'll all keep looking for Jennie, and we'll find him. Don't worry."

Eventually, Lisa cried herself to sleep. Meanwhile, everyone continued searching for Jennie, but no one found any clues about his whereabouts.

Meanwhile, Kai had instructed his men to kidnap Jennie and bring him to a village where Kai was currently staying.

As they were transporting Jennie, who was unconscious and had a fever, night fell, and suddenly, their car's brakes failed.

"Oh my God, what are we going to do now?" one man said.

"Should we jump out of the car?" the second man suggested.

"Are you crazy? If we jump, we'll die," the first man retorted.

The two started arguing and didn't notice the large truck in front of them until it was too late. Their car collided with the truck in a severe accident. Both men died instantly, and Jennie, who was in the back seat, was severely injured, especially with a major head wound.

People from the truck, who had sustained only minor injuries, quickly got out. They noticed oil leaking from the car and hurried to pull Jennie out. Just a few minutes later, the car exploded in a massive blast, but Jennie was alive.

Nearby villagers quickly took Jennie to a small hospital. The doctors performed surgery and gave him a blood transfusion. Fortunately, the operation was successful. However, Jennie had no one to claim him, as the villagers had brought him from a distant location.
