"let's just think none of this had happen" I said and walks back to the house
Upon entering the house, we found momona and Kiawentiio waiting in the cozy living room, chatting animatedly. Curiosity sparkled in their eyes as they bombarded me with questions
"where have you guys been you both look like you've seen a ghost, is everything okay? " Kiawentiio asks as worriedly furrowing her brow
I was nervously shifting weight from one foot to another "We... we just run through the pharmacy to buys some hangover medicine"
Kia's eyes darting between me and gordon, picking up on the tension "so, uh is every.. Thing okay?"
Gordon stands behind me, his eyes down cast, shoulder slumped in sorrow
Kiawentiio put his hands in Gordon's shoulder and ask "is everything okay gordon?"
Gordon wordlessly shakes his head, a lone tear escaping down his cheek. He turns away and retreats to an empty room, the weight of unspoken emotions heavy in the rain
"What did you do [Name]" momona said coming out from the kitchen after she hears our conversations
"I'm sorry I rejected gordon I didn't mean to hurt him" I sat on the couch with regret and runs my hands through my hair
The room falls into a heavy silence as momona and Kiawentiio exchange meaningful glances, understanding the gravity of the situation
"[Name] we only have three room here and there are nine of us. Gordon and you... You'll have to share room for now on" momona said softly
I was surprised by the room arrangements and spoke up with a sense of confusion
