Three months later...
"Gosh, he look just like his daddy."

I went to visit my moms house. Her and my step father fell in love with baby boy. I had grabbed a few things from the store and just took things easy. Me and Michael's relationship has been blossoming even more since the accident. My mom watched him and baby girl so now it was time for them to get home. For the past months, in my mind, I was thinking about all that has happened since the baby. With Amber and Amos living their happily ever after with their son. How all this got started, when it got started and how they could lose everything just from going to the court. What is a mother and father without their child. Court was happening next month, the judge was on vacation. Michael agreed that he wanted this a private thing since he didn't want his father to know. Yet, me, him and the babies were going to Indiana in a few weeks to see everyone. Once they found out that baby Jackson was born, everyone got very excited! But now it was time to get this part out of the way.

"Mom, are we wrong for taking Amos to court?" I asked watching her kiss my son's fingers. I held on to Aurora because she was knocked out from her lunch bottle. Michael was coming come earlier than usual to cook us a nice dinner and we had planned some family time.

"Well, is that what's troubling you baby?" She asked and I took a deep breath. "I mean, all this is like retaliation isn't it? I mean they could lock him up or put him on house arrest but I just feel like he should be with his new family. Not either, I kinda think I want to drop the charges." I said. My heart pounded heavy just from saying this because Michael was very adamant that he wanted to go through with this. His house was basically broken into and I was harmed so I feel him but for what it's worth. We are good, all of us." I looked at my mother and she nodded.

"Talk to Michael about this and see how he feels. I believe that you guys should talk about this. In my opinion whatever you feel that makes you happy, I am happy.

I looked down at my baby girl. To me, it didn't matter at all what would happen to them. Nothing bad of course but I want happiness not doing karmas job.

"You might be right mom. I just feel like what's a child without their parents like, you know? I wouldn't want bad to happen to anyone for real." I said.

"You guys make us so happy.. and I love every moment. You guys are still coming to the anniversary party this Saturday right?" She asked.

After I pulled into the house, I grabbed my purse and then got out. Both of the babies were knocked out sleep. "Aww.." I said smiling. I grabbed the few bags from the store run and sat them on the porch, unlocking the door to make things easier. By then I turned to see Michael pulling up in the new Mercedes he had just bought and he got out of the car.

"Awww tsk tsk.. what's in the bags?" He said reaching for the the back car door.

"Just a few things, relax." I said planting his cheek a kiss and I went on the other side as he unbuckled Aurora out her car seat and I picked up baby boy. "I do want to talk to you though." He said.

"Can it wait until later.. I mean is it bad?" He said. He lets me inside and I waiting until he laid babygirl down in her play pen and I put baby boy in his bassinet.

He grabs me from behind and he turned me around. "What is it? Come on, I don't want the day ruined." He said. I look away for a moment and then I looked at him.

"I- I mean look us.. we are happy, we are a family now and I just feel like we shouldn't take from children. I don't want to go through with the charges, it's not feeling right to me. What they did to us is wrong but I'd rather let it go, it will come back on them. I just don't want to be the cause of it. Just please." I said almost pleading.
