Chapter Thirty 🌺

I can't lie, it's been a good two months. There was no drama and everything was very peaceful. During court, Amos and Amber were still given probation and were only allowed to leave for work, grocery store and their baby boys' doctors appointment. Mama K and my mother also some of Michael's brothers came to court as well. They were all family there wasn't allowed any outsiders.

All evidence proved that they were guilty but with their lawyer and ours coming to agreeing to the fact of being a new family. I was just satisfied that Justice was served. By the time their baby get eight months, they will be cleared to do whatever they wanted and Michael got a restraining order against them. Amos was only allowed to contact if he wanted to know about baby girl Aurora but I felt that was slim to none. Yet, I didn't have anything to worry about for real.

Once we got home, we had to finish setting up for Auroras one year old birthday party. The verdict she loved pink butterflies just like her mommy and Michael. Sadly that's the only man she will call daddy that she's known. Michael has been to every doctors appointment and they have a wonderful relationship. They play together and damn near share everything. I loved their relationship. And she's learning her brother while she walking nearly everywhere and falling. She's been talking her baby talk but it's been progressing since she first said "daddy" and with a Michael and his intelligence both our kids going to be learning small sentences by the age of two.

I laid baby Michael down for his nap after feeding him. Michael was downstairs with Tito and Jermaine helping to set up. Janet agreed to keep baby girl with her and she grew to learn her aunties. She loved them once she got use to them. I walked down stairs, hearing laughter from the living room. Glad juniors room was upstairs, he wouldn't have made ten minutes of it was down here.

I kept my phone on and turned up the baby monitor so that we could hear him. And I started lunch. After the success of the bitterness in court, lunch was getting ready for the long afternoon.

"Hey babe what you making?" Michael came in and left his brother to fend for themselves with whatever and I raised my eye brows. "Just some sandwiches baby. I put baby boy down, y'all would of woke him up a second ago." I said laughing.

He twirled me around and leaned me back like we were dancing and gave me a heartfelt kiss. "Mm.. that was nice! You feel better now that everything is over."

He leaned us up, "Yeah, I kinda wanted to whoop that ass though. He don't touch what belongs to me." That was deep coming from his throat and I felt it. One thing I learned from Michael from long ago was when he knew something was his, he become territorial but with Amber it was very different.

"Well you didn't need to get locked up or anything. I'm here, we are here. It wouldn't have been worth it anyway." I said and he looked taken back from what I said. "Shiddd!"

I popped him in his chest, "Michael come on, I'm serious." But I'm not going to lie, how he said that not only was it sexy to me but it was funny too.

"I'm serious too.. as a heart attack. Why you smirking.. you know what.. imma go back and finish getting my baby stuff ready for her party." He said. But before he left he snuck me a quick kiss on the cheek, popped my ass and then ran out the kitchen.

"Your ass gotta go to sleep." I said to myself smiling. "What was that??!" He screamed.

"Nothing!!" I said whisper yelling holding my finger to my lips.

We all sat around the table as we sang happy birthday to Aurora. Has anyone ever heard the Jackson's sing before. It made me pause and nearly cry. This wasn't your regular happy birthday...when they sung it.. it was with soul.

She clapped her hands laughing and giggling. "Now let's blow out the candles." I looked at Michael as we both blew over the candle with the "1" on it. As the hands of the family clapped something soothing washed over me as if I can say that I made it. With me seeking more adventures to come, I was looking forward to this. I watched as we dived into the huge cake Michael ordered, a Jackson favorite of Boston cream, chucks were disappearing and the food was definitely getting gone. While everyone was enjoying, I managed to slip out to check on baby boy.

I walked upstairs to his door and just when I thought he was sleep he was actually just waking up. "Time for a bottle." I smiled, picking him up as he did his cute baby stretch and his small curls formed on top of his head.

I laid him back down in his diaper area to put him on a clean diaper and wrapped him back in his towel. After sitting down I managed to feed him his bottle and hummed a little to keep him calm.

My phone however never reached where I was when it rang and I just shook my head. I ended up waiting my biography and I had publishers left and right who were tearing my phone up but some wasn't giving me the deal that that book deserved.

The story is still being written but by Michael having pull in his businesses. Everyone been emailing and blowing up my phone..respectfully. After baby boy was done and I burped him, I carried him down the stairs awhile grabbing my phone and placing it in my pocket.

"Awww let me hold him first!" Janet walked up to me holding her hands out. "Be careful he just ate." I said while she giggled. "Pretty soon you gonna get big presents just like your sister." I laughed. I walked into the kitchen looking at my phone as a missed call showed up from Amos.

"Fuck!" I hissed. I hit the button to listen to the voicemails:

" Look it's my daughters got damn birthday and I call you and don't get through. I understand you just had his baby and all but.. I'm the daddy of our daughter. I'll be damned if he will take care of her before I do. "

I hung up and rolled my eyes. "Oh, now you wanna fucking stand up." I put my phone back into my pocket.  I shook that shit off and grabbed a drink to go and watch my baby open her presents..
