Chapter 6

"You did?" Sakura asked suprised by the news.It was quite difficult to find a wide region with no people access."Yeah it's a forest region a couple miles from here.No people access.Actually they think it's haunted." Karin explained further in a cold attitude.She couldn't calm down.All her fears came true.She was scared that the new girl would steal 'her' Sasuke and now there it is.They were ready to kiss and for the first time she was glad that Suigetsu was a part of this team."I will go check it out" Sakura said ready to leave the room.The truth was she wanted to avoid Sasuke's eyes as much as possible."I will come with you then" Karin said and the girls left the room.

"I'll go rest for a bit" Juugo stated and left as well leaving a smirking Suigetsu and a slightly blacked-out Sasuke alone."Sooo,you like her huh?" Suigetsu said with a grin on his face looking amused.Sasuke at first didn't realise what he was talking about but the realization hit him."Tsk,hell no!" he said pissed looking more guilty than ever.It was true though that her change became more challenging for him."Oh come on Sasuke we may not be comrades for a long time but I can say when someone likes someone else" he said amused by Sasuke's panicked-confused-annoyed look."Mind your own business.I couldn't like someone like her" he said and turned his back to leave the room."Wait.At least tell me how do you know her" Suigetsu said making Sasuke stop at his place."We were in the same team when I was in Konoha" he said not completely sure why he was aswering Suigetsu's question."Sasuke you are truly idiot.You left such a treasure behind...you are unbelievable" and with these words Sasuke left the room going back to his own.

To the girls now they had already been much away from the hideout when Karin tried to steal some info out of Sakura saying."So you know Sasuke"."Yes.When he was in Konoha we were in the same team" Sakura responded with a nostalgic look on her face.All these adventures,came as flash back through all the time she was with him."I see...So were you like...a couple?" Karin continued."Haha,no.You know Sasuke probably better than I do.Does he look like a person that care about love and stuff?" she said smirking at her.It was quite laughable.Sasuke hated her.She was annoying as he called her."Yeah I know but you two seem to half some kind of chemistry between you" Karin said clearly depressed.She wouldn't admit it but they looked quite good together."No.I mean we are really different.He is obsessed with power,revenge and hatred.He thinks that loving someone is a nonsense.A waste of time.Then me,I am exactly the opposite." she said with the same look as Karin's.Now she got it.She couldn't believe to her words.It was true though.They were like fire and water.Completely different."You know what they say.Opposites attract." and with that words Sakura turned her head to look at Karin.She was sad.That was sure.Maybe she was one of the fangirls.So why was she trying so hard to assure her that there was a chance between Sasuke and her."Our case is an exception" and with that she went faster leaving Karin and this conversation behind.

Sasuke was in his room trying to think about Suigetsu's words.Was he an idiot for leaving her back?No.If he never left she would never get strong.She would be the same annoying fangirl.But still it is different.Now she seems like she is something different.Like a treasure like Suigetsu said.She was beautiful,strong and smart.She was truly a treasure to a person that could appreciate these things.He was not like that though.The only thing he thought about all these years was revenge.He had been with girls,he had done everything a man could do with a woman but with no feelings.Just for the pleasure.Just for the satisfaction of his hormones.He could never be with someone like Sakura.

"So this is the spot." Karin said pointing at a spot with trees around and plenty of grass."Why would people think that a place so beautiful like this could be haunted?" Sakura wondered.It was like a mini paradise.There were flowers,trees and grass.It would be a nice place for people to hang out to."They say that years ago there was a bunch of kids here.A hunter was here to kill a deer but he saw the kids that scared away the deer.He got really pissed and killed all the kids.Then he watched the deers feed from their corpses and then they went after him.Rumors say that the hunter is still in this forest trying to escape from the deers and the spirits of the kids." Karin said slightly terrified by the story.It looked like true but she couldn't know."Anyway is it good for you?" "Yeah,perfect" Sakura said and with that the girls decided to go back to the hideout.

When they reached there all the boys were in the same room they all were a couple of hours ago.When they entered Sasuke's and Sakura's eyes met for a while and then both of them turned away."You saw the place,Sakura-chan?" Suigetsu asked looking straight into her eyes."Yeah it is pretty good.We will go the day after tomorrow so I can rest for a while and examine the patient.Where will I sleep?" she asked after explaining the situation.The rest of the team thought in unison that there was no other room than one of their own that had a bed."Obviously with one of us" Suigetsu said with a sly smile."Pick one Sakura-chan" he continued looking at her playfully.

"She is sleeping with me" Sasuke said standing up from where he was sitting."Oh come on Sasuke..why you always have to stay with the girls?" Suigetsu said dissapointed.He really thought that there was a chance for him and the girl.But one the other side he was satisfied that his theory was right.Sasuke was at least interested in this girl."Shut up Suigetsu" Sasuke said and left the room.He gave a look at Sakura implying her to follow him so she did.

Both of them thought
