Maybe this time

Chapter 10

After all this it was time to go back.Her conversation with Juugo lighten her mood up.She was unaware,both were of the fact that Sasuke was watching their interruction with an annoyed look on his face.

He wasn't even sure why he was annoyed.Back at the genin days when for example Lee was hitting on her he had no problem.It wasn't love.He was sure of it.But what he felt when she was with Juugo was definetely jealousy.He didn't want to admit it but it was the truth.He was just strongly interested in her to the level that he felt attached to her.

The night fall.Sasuke left the place they were when he saw them standing up and returning to the hideout."Thanks for the talk.It really helped me.After all this I hope I find something for your problem.Don't be sad about this split personality.When you kill people just think you couldn't help it." Sakura told him as they reached his room.He was really a good guy."Aa,thanks" he said and then was lost in his room.

Sakura was in a dilemma.What happened last night couldn't be forgotten.What's more is the awkward feeling all day.She told Karin if she could stay in her room for the night.She didn't gave any explanation about it and Karin accepted.

The point was that she needed to go,inform Sasuke and take her stuff from his room.But this awkward feeling was really annoying to the point that she was out of Sasuke's room and she was afraid of going in.She wasn't sure if Sasuke was in but still she was troubled.

Unexpectedly the door opened and Sasuke appeared in front of her.They were looking each others eyes for a long time.Sakura was quite embarassed that he caught her out of his room doing nothing.Sasuke on the other side had no clue what she was doing there.Karin already informed him about her sleeping with Sakura.

"What are you doing here?" he asked in a cold voice.She looked suprised by his tone.All this time they were talking he didn't use this tone."Can I pass?" she managed to split in a steady voice like her life was depending on it."Aa" was all he said and they were both into his room.She was biting her lip all the time unable to speak for an unknown reason.

"So?" he said breaking the silence driving Sakura to the edge.Why the hell she was so anxious?"Well I am sleeping in Karin's today.I don't know if she told you so I came.Also,I came here to pick up my stuff" she said averting her look elsewhere away from his intense stare."Your stuff is by the couch" he said and left to the bathroom closing the door.

His cold self was back to place.She went to the couch and picked up all her stuff.She didn't know what made him be like this again.When she was about to leave the room realization hit her.She slapped him.Haruno Sakura slapped the big Uchiha Sasuke.Her anxiety returned once she remembered the scene.She couldn't leave like this now.She wasn't that rude.

She sitting to the edge of his big bed and waited for him to come out.

Sasuke /As Sakura predicted/ was quite pissed by her attitude this afternoon.He was interested in her but this was too much to handle.If he was acting okay with that she was going to take for granted that she could do whatever she wanted and he would just do nothing but watch.So he went into the bathroom showing that he wasn't in the mood of seeing her.After a while,a big while he supposed she would be gone.So he walked out the bathroom and went to his bethroom only to see her sitting there.

"What are you doing here?You have your stuff" he said in a pissed voice.Why she making it so hard for him to be his cold self again?"I-I was wondering what happened.Y-you know y-you weren't like that these days.S-so I-I understood what h-happened." she said stuttering like a retarded."I-I slapped y-you so yo-your pissed a-about i-it so I-I wanted to ap-apologise." she said taking a big breath when she finished what she had to say.She standed up and looked at him in the eyes.

He didn't know how to act.The big Uchiha Sasuke never forgave anyone for anything.That girl was making him break all the self-rules he had until now."That's it?Okay now go" he said and turned his back on her opening the wardrobe.She heard her muttering something, he didn't listen though and then she left closing the door loudly.He smirked at her attitude.

Then he realized the day that was following.She would do the jutsu.Is this why she wanted to apologize so frankly?Because after tomorrow she is going to be unconsious?

"Damn it" he said punching the wardrobe.
