One of the club's bouncers, a burly man with a menacing glare, approached Jimin."What do you think you're doing here?" the bouncer growled, his grip tightening on Jimin's shoulder.
Jimin, thinking quickly, tried to keep his voice steady. "I'm just looking for someone. I think I might have the wrong place."
The bouncer's eyes narrowed, clearly not buying Jimin's excuse. He started to drag Jimin toward the back exit, away from the meeting. Jimin's mind raced, knowing he was about to lose his chance to gather vital information.
As they reached the door, Jimin spotted a small, unattended side room. With a quick twist, he freed himself from the bouncer's grip and slipped inside, locking the door behind him. He took a moment to catch his breath, listening to the muffled shouts of the bouncer calling for backup.
Jimin looked around the room, searching for anything that might help him. His eyes fell on a ventilation grate. He quickly removed it and crawled inside, hoping it led back to the room where the meeting was taking place.
The narrow space was dark and claustrophobic, but Jimin pushed forward, his determination unyielding. He finally reached an opening above the room where the meeting was happening. Peering through the grate, he saw the notorious figure again, now clearly visible under the dim light.
"We need to move quickly," the notorious figure said. "The boss wants this done by the end of the week. Y/N must be taken care of, and we can't leave any loose ends."
Jimin's heart raced as he listened intently. This was the confirmation he needed. He pulled out his phone and started recording the conversation, knowing this evidence could be crucial in protecting Y/N and bringing down those responsible.
"And what about JK?" a high-ranking member asked. "He's not going to sit idly by while we target her."
"JK will be dealt with," the notorious figure replied. "We have people inside his organization. When the time comes, they'll make their move."
Jimin's blood ran cold. This conspiracy was deeper than he feared, and now JK's life was in danger too. He needed to get this information to JK and Y/N before it was too late.
As the meeting started to wrap up, Jimin carefully retreated through the ventilation shaft. He exited the building through a back alley, avoiding the bouncers and other club members. His mind was already forming a plan. He needed to get back to JK's mansion and share what he'd discovered.
Arriving at JK's mansion, Jimin parked discreetly and made his way inside. The tension was palpable as he entered the office room, where JK and Namjoon were deep in conversation.
Jimin stepped into the room, his face grave. JK noticed him immediately, his curiosity piqued by the urgency in Jimin's demeanor. "Jimin, what are you doing here?"
Without a word, Jimin held up a small device and pressed play. The room fell into a tense silence as the conspirators' voices filled the space. Y/N's face went pale, fear and determination warring in her eyes. JK's expression hardened, his protective instincts kicking into high gear.
"We need to act fast," JK declared, his voice edged with urgency. "We can't let them get to Y/N."
Namjoon nodded, his mind already strategizing. "Agreed. We need to strengthen our defenses and root out the moles among us."
Suddenly, Y/N burst into the room, her eyes blazing with frustration. "What's happening? Why am I always kept in the dark? This concerns me too! Why do you always ignore my questions?"
