JK's POV:The moment I hung up the phone, a sense of dread washed over me. The words Y/N had said echoed in my mind, each one cutting deeper than the last. "Don't look for me. I don't want to be with you anymore." I knew Y/N better than anyone, and something about the call felt wrong-forced, even.
I stared at the phone, my mind racing. The call had come from an unknown number, which was strange in itself. Why hadn't she called from her phone? And why did her voice tremble with fear instead of resolve?
I needed answers. My first thought was to call her back, but the number was blocked. Frustration boiled within me, but I forced myself to stay calm. Panicking wouldn't help Y/N.
I grabbed my jacket and headed out of the house, my thoughts swirling. I had to figure out where she was and why she'd said those things. As I got into my car, my phone buzzed with a message. It was from one of my bodyguards, informing me that Y/N had left in a hurry after receiving a call about an accident.
An accident? My blood ran cold. She must have been lured out under false pretenses. I had to find out who was behind this.
"Start tracing the call Y/N received," I instructed my team. "And find out where her phone was last active."
Minutes felt like hours as I waited for any information. My mind kept replaying the call, searching for any clue or hidden message. There was something in her tone, a subtle plea for help that she couldn't voice openly.
Finally, my phone buzzed again. "Her phone was last active near an old industrial area outside the city," my bodyguard reported. "We're heading there now."
I sped toward the location, my heart pounding with a mix of fear and determination. The industrial area was known for its abandoned warehouses-a perfect place to keep someone hidden. As I drove, I couldn't shake the feeling that this was all connected to someone close to us, someone who knew our routines and weaknesses.
When I arrived, my team was already scouring the area. I joined the search, calling out for Y/N and hoping against hope that we weren't too late. My mind was a whirlwind of possibilities, each one more terrifying than the last.
As we combed through the buildings, I finally spotted a faint light flickering in one of the warehouses. I signaled to my team, and we approached cautiously. Inside, I found her. My heart ached at the sight of Y/N, looking vulnerable but fierce, her eyes filled with determination.
"Y/N!" I called out, rushing to her side.
Her face lit up with a mixture of relief and fear. "JK, you found me."
"I'll always find you," I promised, pulling her into my arms. "Let's get out of here."
But before we could move, a voice echoed through the warehouse. "Not so fast."
We turned to see J-Hope standing in the shadows, his expression unreadable. Anger surged through me as I realized the extent of his betrayal.
"J-Hope, why?" I demanded, my voice trembling with fury.
He stepped forward, a bitter smile on his face. "You think you can have everything, JK. But actions have consequences."
Y/N tightened her grip on my hand, and I knew we had to be smart about our next move. This wasn't just about us anymore; it was about exposing the truth and ensuring our safety.
"Let her go," I said, my voice steady. "This is between you and me."
J-Hope laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. "Oh, it's much bigger than that. You think you can get away with this? You killed our brother, JK. Our brother."
