The next day came with lax as everyone spent the night in the rooms above the basement at their hideout. Jackson and his friends still wondered if his truck was still in good shape. Snake said it was most likely untouched since no one ever comes around South Clinton. The gang soon loaded up the only five four wheelers available in town and made haste. Five of them would be placed onto five trucks along with three red gas containers.

Each and every one of them was trained how to drive an all terrain vehicle and handled them well. Only one main problem came with it. None of them were taught how to shoot a gun during the ride. For this kind of situation they'd need two people on each vehicle, one to drive and the other to shoot with accuracy.

For this mission; Jackson, Owen, Connor, and the whole guerilla force of South Clinton would join them on their quest to get more guns.

Not more than thirty-five minutes had passed until they had arrived on the far outskirts of Greenville. They came ready, last night was spent going over the battle plan. Before they even stepped out of their trucks, Splinter and The End monitored the surroundings with binoculars and the scopes that were mounted on their rifles. After a careful scan of the horizon they deemed it safe to enter the fields.

"Why do you think this guys shoots random people who come near his town?" Owen asked, "Does he think they're infected with some kind of zombie virus or something?"

"Who knows?" Wolf answered, "Maybe he's just not a people person."

"Or maybe it's cause he doesn't want people stealing his guns." Blaze spoke out as they began unloading the four wheelers. Her answer sounded perfectly legit. But Liger always suggested that maybe he encounter the wrath of Joel in the past and he might have been an escapee who's going on an all out killing spree. Friend or foe, he must not know who's on his side. When Liger was asked if he knew any snipers in Washington City he'd reply that he never met anyone that had something negative to say about Joel.

As soon as they started up their four wheelers, they began to feel uneasy as the motor putted away. Not a single one of them was feeling safe as they rode forward along the ditches. Riding in the fields sounded hazardous if there were any traps set. The other side to going through the conduit was that it gave them a better chance at keeping their heads down.

Snake led the way as they'd move in at a medium speed. Going too fast would cause the motor to expel louder noises and this mission required stealth by all means. As soon as they got close enough to the buildings on the edge they'd cut the engines and dismounted. Everyone was to hit the dirt and speak in whispers. Charlie and Blade where left in charge of staying put and keeping guard of the four wheelers and making sure nothing happened to them.

Entrance inside the Greenville municipality was kept with their sides to the brick walls of a building structure. Snake joked that if anyone had eyes that saw at a 360° degree angle, now would be the perfect time to start watching every corner. He called forth Blaze.

Blaze reached into her coat and pulled out a pack of gum and began chewing on a piece for a few seconds before spitting it out. Snake attached the chewed sticky blob to the side tip of his hunting knife and took out a small pocket sized mirror. Jackson and his guys had no idea what Snake was up to until they saw that he was attaching the little mirror to the knife as a way to look past corners without having to jeopardize one's self from a sniper. All clear! They moved quickly down the street with some of the members looking up along the roof tops and windows of every building they began to pass.

All was quiet for the first few tense moments in Greenville, not even the wind made its presence. Footsteps were kept to a whisper while words were barely uttered. For most of the guerilla fighters this was like pervious battles rolled into one. Jackson, Connor, and Owen on the other hand were sweating bullets and felt their hearts racing as if they were ready to ride upon a monstrous rollercoaster.
