By the time Jackson and his crew arrived back to Georgetown it was nearing sunset. They all came home with smiles of hope and were viewed as heroes. Jackson rolled down the windows along with Connor and Owen as they cheered back to their comrades. They pulled up into the driveway of the town hall where they greeted Caden and told him of the great news.
"I'm so happy to see you guys again." The Village Elder praised.
"We're more happy to see you." Connor informed.
"What about our reinforcements?" Jackson asked,
"We ruffled up around a hundred them from Hampton, they too are willing to fight with us. However they aren't highly armed as we'd thought they were."
"You don't have to worry about that anymore." Jackson smiled. "With the help from Snake," Jackson faced over to the courageous leader and his team, "we managed to get a hold of plenty of supplies to expand our militia."
"I also have other news for our military too, since you left, dozens more have enlisted. It's to the point where Andy is going to need more help training them."
"We can always give them a hand." Snake stated and Caden looked over towards him.
"Would you do that?" Caden asked with all sincerity.
"Of course, my guerilla force is dedicated to protecting the weak and serving the good against all evil. And it would be a great privilege for us to help." Snake smiled with his face and body covered in camouflage. Surprisingly, neither he nor anyone else in his group had removed any of the face paint that had worn since they met up with the three members of the Georgetown Militia.
"How experienced are you?" Caden wasn't expecting twenty years of service or anything, but just knowledge and skills that can be used.
"Believe me, we have experience. We're also in luck, one of our own guys used to be a member of Joel's army," Caden's eyes began to widen, "now we know more of an inkling as to what makes them tick." Liger stepped forward into Caden's view.
"You don't have to worry, I'm trustworthy." Liger said,
"Why did you leave?"
"I didn't agree with what they were doing."
"How about we introduce ourselves?" Snake butted in. He managed to get everyone greeted before requesting that he trains the militia. When revealing the treasure of Greenville to The Village Elders their eyes grew wide to see what was stored in the back of a few of the guerrillas trucks. "Looks like we're ready to set up an arsenal."
The next morning had risen with the good guys awake the moment the sun gave the sky a reddish tint with pink. All the new recruits arrived at the town hall where Snake and his group where waiting in the main hall getting names written down and handing out uniforms. The attire they'd be wearing was now either hunting or military styled cameo clothing. Everyone was then asked if they'd ever fired a gun before and to the guerrilla squad's surprise, fewer than they'd expected of them had ever used one. None of them were issued any firearms at the moment, but they were given their supplies in a regular backpack. Other materials given to them were some of the goods that could be found in what Connor was packing. To them it made each and every one of them feel more organized. Some felt they could even survive in the wild like on TV.
After protocol was taken, everyone sat down and Snake came forward to lecture. He started off with a simple "Good Morning" and introduced himself to the militia. What he'd go on to say would involve his time in the guerilla forces and how he and his squad went from just some kids who'd go out to the countryside and play paint ball to becoming post apocalyptic survivalists. Everything went into overdrive once they met Liger. He was just a simple minded teen from Washington City until the Great Disappearance occurred and he enlisted to sign up for what was thought to be a way to restore order. He was wrong. Because of this, Liger left and brought the fear of Joel to them and they fought them off in conflict.
