[Zelos's pov]

Lucia was busy with something for lunch, so I decided to go somewhere new instead of sitting outside. I was fuckin' sick of the sunshine and greenery and everything. It was time for some table, chair, and air conditioning.

along the path outside I passed by Rozen talking to her friends, and I still had my usual resting bitch face upon my face. when Rozen called out to me and waved, I waved back. Rozen knew how I was and didn't react, but her friends went a bit quiet and fuckin' looked at me weird. I realized instead of waving back at Rozen in a friendly manner, I looked like I was giving her a death threat. I cursed myself under my breath as they walked away.

I took a not so nice stroll to the cafeteria, sat down at a table in the middle of all tables right outside the canteen. I took a bite out of whatever lunch I had brought and I started hearing voices near the food area. Those voices turned into loud voices so I looked up, and I saw that everyone was looking up.

My eyes widened when I saw Siony of all people, yelling at a girl and it seemed like they were in pretty deep shit. I didn't pay much mind, I had argued that hard with Siony before. It went a bit silent then, but then they started screaming. Siony slammed her against the back refrigerator and the next words thrown made me flinch and tense up.

Oh, so that was his ex. He seemed to be really emotional just now, I didn't realize it was that fucking serious. When Siony told me about her he seemed stressed, but there was always something in his eyes or the sound of his voice that showed he would be just fine. He sounded like he was already moving on. Now he's pulling this crap out in the open? Did he still love her...?

God, why am I thinking so hard about that? it's none of my damn business.

Something about how Siony screamed really shuddered me to my core. It wasn't just letting off a lot of steam, it wasn't just getting extremely mad, it was horrifying. He had bottled up everything just to explode. It felt like nothing I had ever heard, not from the voice of my mother, it felt like if he wasn't stopped by Ezekiel or the staff then he would've screamed until his lungs caved in. His scream left a crack in my cold, cold heart, and I almost felt like crying because of how much I understood him in that moment.

[Siony's pov]

People were whispering, it wouldn't be long till everyone in the whole school knows about my little outburst. Who were my real friends?

I had never acted like this. Not in the wide open public, at least. In fact, last time this had ever happened was years ago so I don't understand why I would do this again.

"Siony...? What's wrong with you?" Damian asked cautiously.

Both Damian and Clarence quickly ran to my side and took me, made me follow them out the cafeteria swiftly and Ezekiel followed. We went into the bathroom on the side and trailed out the other door so we wouldn't catch more of people's attention, and we stopped at the curb outside. My eyes were lifeless at this point.

I just flopped down there, legs crossed and back slouched. I looked down to the floor and didn't say anything. What could I say to them? Damian and Clarence sat by my side looking at me like I was a science specimen and Ezekiel kneeled right in front of me to take my hands into his.

"Siony, are you doing alright? I'm really worried about you now." Ezekiel shook my hands slightly to make me look at him. I didn't look.

"Yeah man, that was intense. What did that bitch say to you? You totally freaked out." Clarence cupped his knees and rocked back slightly.

"...I've never seen you act like that, dude." Damian told me. "That was fucking scary."

"Yeah, man." Clarence agreed. "You told us you were doing pretty okay when you dumped Laine but now I don't really...believe that."
