THE MIX UP

FEELINGS

Taehyung is the first to wake up. He frowns when he feels a weight on his chest only to see the two boys cuddling against him. Yoongi is on the other side of the bed, sleeping soundly. Taehyung smiles when he remembers the previous night.

They had their dinner in bed, which lead to a pillow fight, then bed time stories and talking about everything the boys wanted to talk about...he remembers Yoongi's laugh, the sparkle in his eyes and his oh so beautiful gummy smile.

Taehyung doesn't want to admit to himself just how quick his feelings are growing for Yoongi. He is an adult, very self aware of himself. He always knew he had an interest in both genders but was too shy to admit it in the open.

Taehyung carefully gets out of bed and heads over to the kitchen. He sees Yuntae's nanny, an elderly lady with a warm motherly heart, busy getting breakfast ready for the family. Normally, Yoongi would be up helping her, but she heard them making so much noise the previous night and she knew they'd be too exhausted to wake up early.

" Good morning Anna." Taehyung says happily, taking Anna's hand and bringing her knuckles to his forehead. A sign of respect.

" Good morning Tae." She ruffles his fluffy hairs. Taehyung whines and sits at the counter.

" You seem happy this morning." She smiles cheekily and Taehyung can't help but smile along. He finds himself narrating their activities for last night with a big smile on his face.

Anna sees just how his eyes sparkle when Taehyung speaks of Yoongi. It is so nice to see him finally being so lively. Anna was there when his fiancé died. She saw just how Taehyung drowned himself in work, not even spending that much time with his son...but now, he can see a little light at the end of the tunnel for Taehyung.

" And did you know he can play the piano? Isn't that so cool? Maybe I should get one for him. I'd love to hear him play."

Anna looks behind Taehyung who is busy fan girling about Yoongi, not knowing the actual man is right behind him, listening to it all with a bright smile and tinted cheeks.

" He looks like a kitten, especially when he's grumpy, he's like Yuntae. They're both adorable-"

" Wow, Tae. Thanks for all the praises " Yoongi speaks, playing off as cool as he sits next to Taehyung. Anna purses her lips so she won't laugh out loud. Taehyung's eyes are wide and he seems so flustered.

" I... I..." He doesn't have words.

Yoongi looks at Taehyung raising an eyebrow.

" I'll wake the boys up." He quickly says and darts from the kitchen to the staircase. Yoongi turns to Anna who is now laughing to herself.

" You two are adorable."
Yoongi shrugs and takes a tangerine from the fruit bowl.

" Is he always that cute?" He asks Anna who smiles and shakes her head.

" Taehyung is serious most of the times. Seeing him like this is refreshing."

Yoongi finds himself smiling. He can't seem to relax. His tummy has this...weird feeling and he can't explain why everytime he sees Taehyung, he just feels so flustered and shy.

Taehyung is busy making calls in his home office. He decided to stay home for the day, and spend some quality time with the kids...and Yoongi too.

He blushes at the thought of being close to Yoongi. The short male always looks so cuddly, Taehyung has to often fight the urge to just hug him.

" The door opens fully, and with much force, startling Taehyung who was about to make another call.

" Oh Hail the Gucci King. Your lunch has arrived!" Announces Taeyun in a loud voice. Behind him is Yuntae laughing as he holds a spoon and fork and Yoongi carrying a tray filled with food. Behind them is Anna with a jug of juice.

Taehyung laughs as both boys scramble to sit on his lap, Yuntae immediately getting curious about the papers in front of them while Taeyun tells Yoongi to fill the glass with the orange juice.

" Min Taeyun!" Yoongi scolds when Taeyun picks the juice and drinks it instead of giving it to Taehyung.

" It's okay." Taehyung laughs, patting Taeyun on the head. Taeyun notices Yuntae trying to read and offers him the remaining juice left in the glass.

" I know you were working, but staying hungry is not okay." Yoongi says as he places the plates before Taehyung who is smiling at Yoongi. It feels good to have someone care for him.

" Thank you." He says and tries to eat, but the boys on his lap limit his movement. Yoongi notices and sends the boys out to play, much to their protests.

The two of them remain in silence in the office. Yoongi watches as Taehyung eats his meal, trying to avoid eye contact.

" I think you're adorable too." Yoongi says causing Taehyung to look at him quick. Yoongi coughs, and looks away, knowing it would be awkward to say such things to another man.

But he still goes on.

" I heard what you said about me, and thanks for all the compliments." He adds while fiddling with his fingers.

But Taehyung smiles big and blurts...

" Let's go for dinner? Just us two?"

" Yoongi's eyes become wide, it's adorable but also laughable.

" I mean...as friends. To get away from the boys, just for a bit." He scratches his nape shyly and meets Yoongi's brown orbs.

" Okay. I guess we both need to breathe a bit. We can leave them at Jungkook's -"

" Or Hoseok's place." Taehyung quickly interjects. He really doesn't like Jungkook.

" He's a good man, right?" Yoongi asks skeptically. He doesn't trust just anyone with kids.

" He's my best friend, an angel honestly, and he's been wanting to meet the kids for sometime now."

Yoongi nods. If Taehyung can trust this Hoseok guy, so can he.

" Then... I'll get ready."

"And... I'll make reservations!" Yoongi stands up, Taehyung soon walking to the door, only to hold it open for Yoongi, like such a gentleman. They both smile awkwardly at each other.

Yoongi speed walks to his room, clutching his rapidly beating heart.

" What is this feeling?"

Taehyung closes the door and leans against it, closing his eyes as Yoongi's scent invades his nose.

" What the heck, Gucci man!" He asks himself before chuckling.
