THE MIX UP

A NEW WORLD

Taehyung wakes up to the sweet aroma hovering in the air. The smell is so appetizing, it made his stomach growl in anticipation.

" Wow!" He whispers and immediately heads downstairs...

He stops and frowns when loud giggles and singing is heard from the kitchen...

" HAKUNA MATATA!!!" Yoongi and the kids singing out loud to the lion king song...

" It means no worries..."

" FOR THE REST OF YOUR DAYS...ITS A PROBLEM FREE...PHILOSOPHY...

HAKUNA MATATA!!!!"

Taehyung laughs to himself, admiring the trio having the time of their lives. Even Yuntae seems to be more lively than usual. It warms his heart so much. He looks at a laughing Yoongi, busy serving the breakfast as he sings and dances along. His beautiful gummy smile looking even more angelic this morning.

Taehyung gulps when his heart begins to beat abnormally. He is just so perfect...

" Oh!" Yoongi stops his little dance, Taeyun quickly stands straight and Yuntae opens his story book, the trio pretending like they weren't having a mini party just a few seconds ago.

" Papa!"

" Go back to sleep."

" Good morning!"

The three say simultaneously, Yoongi glaring at Taeyun for his rude morning greeting.

" Umm... smells good in here." Taehyung smiles as he sits next to Yuntae at the counter. The little boy immediately scrambles to his father's lap. Taehyung sadly looks at Taeyun wondering when the kid will warm up to him. And Yoongi notices immediately.

" Taeyun, come here." He holds out his hands and Taeyun gives his boxy grin as Yoongi lifts him up. He kisses the boy's nose.

" Why don't you say a good morning to Taehyung? Hmm?" Taeyun frowns and steals a small glance at Taehyung. He sighs and wiggles to climb down from Yoongi's grip. Once he is down, he walks to Taehyung and holds out his hand for a shake.

Taehyung's eyes sparkle as he holds his son's soft hands.

" Good morning." Taeyun says shyly and looks up at a smiling Taehyung. The little boy finds himself smiling back.

" Good morning too champ." Taehyung says and ruffles his hair. Yoongi smiles, handing the boys their strawberry milk. Taeyun squeals as he takes a seat next to Taehyung who is still holding Yuntae who is now busy reading his story book. Yoongi silently admires as Taehyung engages in a lively conversation with both the boys, not even having the time to have his breakfast.

" You should eat before it gets cold." Yoongi says, sitting opposite the trio.

" I'll feed you appa!" Yuntae gives Taehyung his gummy smile. His chubby hand already reaching for the fork. Taeyun watches the two with a small pout, then looks at Yoongi.

'oh boy' Yoongi almost rolls his eyes.

" Baby, do you need something?" Yoongi asks Taeyun who does not waste a second to find his way to Yoongi's lap and feeding him too, just like Yuntae is doing to Taehyung.
The two adults give each other a knowing look and hold back their smiles...

"Are we there yet?!"

Both Taehyung and Yoongi sigh in unison...

" Just a bit more boys."

" But we have to pee!" Yuntae says dramatically, Taeyun supporting him with a vigorous nod.
