My friend Sanobar, is getting engaged in week. And she asked me to help her with dress and accessories and other stuff.
She things I have better idea about these.

So yesterday the dress came from her in laws, and she bought pictures of it to show me as I didn't agree to go to her house.

I had an prior appointment. I'm a mehndi artist as a side job. I get enough money to save for myself along with my official job's pay which I save for future.

I don't usually take many orders if I'm busy. And this time of the year is Marriage season, and I didn't have much work in the laboratory too, so I had 2-3 days free for it.
Not many people know about my side work except my family and friends.

And Sanobar is also one of them. She was a classmate of mine, later we clicked and became close. She used to live in remote place before shifting into the city. So she doesn't have much of an idea of things. And she trusts me to help her with it. Her in-laws are from the city, so she wants them to have a good impression towards her.

I told her about the self-care routines and other stuff, but I'm still not convinced with people getting comfortable after getting engaged but for me it's Nikah. Before it I don't want to have any kind of leniency towards my believes.

But different people have different believes which I can't help them with. So, I just didn't want to ruin her happiness and went along with her needs.

Yesterday I asked her to have her grooming in salon. And today we were having little shopping trip for some jewelry, and she would drop me off to my hostel.

Sanobar came with her sister as she had some things to get. But our 1st priority was the engagement bride, so we went for her jewelry and makeup refills. And had lunch outside.
It was around 3.30pm when we entered the clothing store, and her sister is just looking for everything but nothing. And here I'm getting bored. I tried helping her pick, but she has some other thing in mind which is not here.

As I was gazing at the clothes and stuff, I hear my name calling but I thought I was mistaken as it was a large area and other people may have the same name too.

But soon I spotted Sufi and Laiba aunty beside me.

"Assalamualaikum. How are you beta?"

"Waalaikum salam. Alhamdulillah aunty. How are you two? And how come you are here? " I asked hugging Sufi. I was excited meeting both of them here.
It's been more than 2 months since we saw each other.
But we did chat and talked at calls. And I'm in touch with Sufi which came out as a shock as I never expected us to become this close so soon.
But I dont know we just clicked and here she calls me when she's free and same goes by me.
We have been talking about aur past friendship and her upcoming marriage. And about her fiance.

"We were here to the never ending shopping" Sufi said and we laughed.

"How about you beta?" Aunty asked looking at my friends.

"Here my friend is getting engaged next week. She wanted me to accompany her with some things" I said showing them Sanobar and her sister. And introduced them. And finally her sister had bought a dress.

"So will you be going back or do you guys have other plans?" Aunty asked.
"No aunty. Sanobar will drop me off to hostel"

"So you are free for the day. Then?" Aunty asked
