I opened the sliding door, stepped out onto the balcony and inhaled the salty sea air tinged with the scent of my freshly brewed coffee. The wind whipped at my curls and blew them into my face, blocking my vision of the late morning private beach view in Jeju Island. It was the last day of our one week honeymoon, so I decided to take in the view alone before Mark woke up. A light smile on my face, I walked down the steps to the deck below, then walked all the way up to the shoreline, waves lapping idly at my feet.
It had been an exhilarating week, filled with morning love, afternoon adventures, and evening fellowship. Mark and I had eaten at just about every restaurant and food stall within a one mile radius of our vacation rental, yet all it did was make me lament that we couldn't stay forever. We met kind residents and made new friends, like the sweet older couple that ran the tteokbokki shop with the best dumplings I'd ever had. As I walked along the shore, I sighed at the knowledge that I may not be able to come back here anytime soon, yet joyful that I was able to even experience memories I would cherish for a lifetime.
"Sad to go, right?" Mark said from a distance as he walked towards me.
I nodded, a bittersweet smile on my face while I waited for him to reach me. He reached out for me, encircling me in his arms from behind as he turned us to face the water. He hugged me tight, as if in comfort. We stayed like this, wrapped together in companionable silence until our phones pinged simultaneously. Knowing it must be from the group chat Mark put me in with his other group members, we sighed knowing things were about to get chaotic.
Bambam: Yo Mark and Essie they released the news and...just don't go online for a bit
Jackson: It's not like they can, you idiot
Jinyoung: ikr...I was looking at the articles myself and Naver crashed again
Jaebum: SNS too, Twitter's gone ballistic. Still working, but maybe don't look at the hastags
Yugyeom: I'm ignoring it, it's always the same stuff
Youngjae: There's a lot of mean comments but our Ahgases are so sweet they've taken over a lot of hastags and gotten other fandoms to help suppress the haters!! Look at these *Screenshot attached*
Essie: Wow they're so kind! I'm also ignoring SNS, I've never been that into social media anyway
Mark: Yeah we'll just ride it out and let the company handle it. Thanks for the heads up
Yugyeom: uh...so now that that's out of the way...how's the honeymoon? *Wiggles eyebrows*
Essie: nunya :D
Bambam: ?
Mark: nunya business :p
Jackson: At least show us some pics
Essie: *pictures attached*
Youngjae: I wanna go to Jeju now ;-;
Mark: *pictures attached*
Jaebum: Okay stop you're making me hungry
Essie: Good cause we're going to ignore you now~
Jinyoung: Wait I want more pictures of the food!
Jinyoung: ??
Youngjae: hello?
Bambam: wow I can't believe they really did ignore us
Jackson: if I was on my honeymoon I'd ignore y'all too
Yugyeom: yeah keep dreaming, maybe you'll get a girlfriend in your dreams
Jackson: Smh
Mark and I snickered at the group chat, knowing full well it would continue for a while so we muted the group.
"Oh yeah that reminds me...I need to set my Instagram to private!" I said in a panic.
The company released my partial likeness from the wedding so not much was shown, but I knew the power of K-pop fans so I assumed it would only be a matter of time before I was found out. I had already created a new public account as per the company's request for when they wanted me to post something, and I'd followed all GOT7 members before forgetting about it. As I logged in, I saw that all the members and the company had followed me back, leading to several questioning comments and theories under my single post about the group's upcoming comeback, as well as several hundred new follows from undoubtedly suspicious and curious fans.
"Yeah, looks like you'd better do it now before more people see it," Mark said while looking over my shoulder.
Nodding, I quickly set it to private, also making sure that I'd only receive comments from people I was following.
"Wanna get something to eat?" I asked when I finished, looking at the time.
Mark smirked, opening his mouth to no doubt say something dirty. Quickly, I put my hands over his mouth in disapproval.
"Nope, I know what you're about to say, don't even think about it. Save it for later," I said.
I waited until he seemed to relent before taking my hands off his mouth. He said nothing, biting back a smile, so I started walking back to the house while thinking about where to go for our last day on the island. We entered the house and I closed the sliding door, making my way to the bedroom to change with Mark following after. As soon as the door closed, Mark caught me from behind and pinned me with his body, roughly pressing up against me as my chest pushed against the wall. I gasped in surprise when he dipped his head low, teeth grazing the spot behind my ear as my head lolled back, eyes closed in pleasure.
"It's now later, and I'm hungry," he whispered seductively, hands roaming my body wantonly.
"That's...not what I meant," I said with great difficulty as he never stopped his roving hands.
"You know you want it too, I can feel it," he whispered hoarsely.
I tried pushing against him to ramp down my desire only to have him turn me around, picking me up and tossing me onto the bed. I knew at that moment I would be here a while as I took in his lusty expression, so I pushed myself further up the bed before smiling slowly. I crooked my finger and beckoned him.
"If you know I want it, why are you standing there then? Come get it," I said, biting my lip and propping myself up on my elbow as I patted the bed.
"Instead of brunch, let's go out for lunch instead," he said with a wolfish grin before pouncing on me immediately, eliciting a delighted squeal from me.

A/N: I didn't plan to make a chapter on the honeymoon but I was so busy I missed my deadline to post a chapter and had nothing written. I only had a couple hours so I hacked this short chapter out, deciding to write about the honeymoon to make up for being late.
I don't write smut so this is the max level you're getting out of me. I never even planned on going this far 😅.
