When Jini reached over to pull you closer to her as she slept, she instead felt the warm sheets against her fingertips where you lay.

She sat up against the pillows and rubbed her tired eyes before looking to see that you weren't there beside her.

"Y/N?" She sleepily mumbled and looked around the room before noticing that the bathroom door was closed and the light was on.

She worried that you might be sick because it's almost three am and you don't tend to wake up during the night very often.

Getting up from the bed, she walked over to the bathroom door and turned the knob to see that you hadn't locked it.

She slowly opened the door and peeked inside and her heart sank when she saw you rocking back and forth on the floor.

"Baby? Are you okay?" She spoke as she rushed to you.

Sitting beside you, she watched you lift your head as she gently placed her hand on your shoulder.

She was about to ask if you were sick or didn't feel well but then she heard the way your uneven labored breaths and noticed how you were trembling and it clicked quickly.

"Are you anxious, baby?"

You nodded wordlessly.

This isn't the first time Jini has seen you this way.

She has anxiety too so she understands what it's like when it becomes so overwhelming.

But it breaks her heart to see you struggling so much.

Anxiety attacks are nothing new to either of you but they're so scary and so exhausting.

Jini's heart was sinking in her chest as she watched you struggle and all she could do was sit there with you and try to help you through it.

She decided to hold off on asking you what caused it or how long you'd been in here on your own as she slept because she didn't want to make it worse somehow.

Ever so gently, she brushed her hand across your back and tried to comfort you through it.

"It's okay. I'm here." She whispered before she got a little closer and pulled you into her arms, knowing that you'd need the comfort and warmth of her embrace more than ever. "Everything's going to be okay. I know it doesn't feel like it right now but you'll be alright. You're safe, baby."

It felt like the world was spinning out of control as your heart pounded against your chest and you struggled to breathe.

You trembled and your hands shook as she did all she could to coax you through it.

"I've got you. You don't need to be scared, I'm right here with you. Try to take some deep breaths with me. Everything's going to be okay."

"It isn't." You anxiously spoke.

"It is." She assured. "I promise you. I'm here."

You squeezed your eyes shut and gripped her shirt tightly, only finding comfort and safety in her arms.

There was a feeling of dread that still lingered despite knowing that nothing could hurt you as Jini held you.

It was all so intense and you felt like you couldn't breathe though you tried so hard to do so.

"Focus on me, baby. I know you're anxious and something's bothering you but everything's going to be alright. I've got you."

You closed your eyes and tried to forget about everything as she held you close.

It took a while for you to calm down but eventually, your anxiety began to slowly disappear as the air began to fill your lungs and your heartbeat slowed down.

"What's going on, my love? You know you can tell me anything."

You started to open up about all the things that have been bothering you lately, letting out every worry and every struggle you've been trying to deal with or push through.

Jini was so comforting, assuring you that she would help you through it all.

Work was one thing that had been especially difficult lately.

The new job you started recently seemed so much better from what you were told than it is working it.

The employees there are mean and you and your boss don't see eye to eye whatsoever and the thought of having to go in every day brings you intense anxiety.

Jini was so soothing as she encouraged you to find something else, something better.

She reminded you that a better opportunity was out there, it would just take some time to find it.

But until you did, she would be more than happy to care for you and be here for you, whether you chose to keep the job or leave for your own well-being.

All the words you've been needing to hear fell from her lips and you let out a sigh of relief as it felt like the weight of the world had lifted from your shoulders.

"I'm always here for you. You don't have to sneak out of bed and come in here and deal with your anxiety attacks alone. Just wake me up and I'll happily help you through them, no matter how long it might take or what I have going on the next day. You're so important to me, darling. Please don't ever forget that."

You cracked a small smile and looked into her eyes.

She noticed how exhausted you were.

"Did you sleep at all yet?"

"No. I just laid there wide awake while you slept until my anxiety became too much and I came in here."

"Do you feel any better?"

You nodded and closed your eyes as she kissed your forehead.

"Thanks to you being here for me. I love you."

"I love you too. Come on, let's go to bed. Tomorrow is a new day and we don't have anywhere to be so we can talk more about everything. We'll get through it all together. I'll be right by your side, no matter what."
