Meanwhile somewhere else,

A figure comes out of a car and walk towards another person, "Well I'm here. Now talk!"

"Someone is poking around. Digging through records." The second figure says distressed.

"Who?"

"An intern. Not just any, Rebecca Armstrong."

The man looks at the other with a hint of suprise and anger, "Another Armstrong? Fuck these people."

"You need to do something." The person pleads, clearly showing his panic.

"Did she find anything?"

"Not yet. But if she keeps looking, she might. You need to stop her." The person says matter of factly.

The man scoffed, "You should've thought about that before appointing a Chankimha to this hospital. What the fuck were you thinking?"

"Not everyone is like you. You might not feel guilty about what we have done. But I do. I still don't sleep at night. I found a way to ease my conscience when I appointed their daughter. It's the least I could do."

"Well look where it got us. Not only she's the chief, she fell in love with an Armstrong. This is a fucking mess."

The man starts pacing back and forth, while the other one observes.

"Do you think I don't know that?"

The man stops pacing before lunging at the person taking a hold of his collar, "If this comes out, it will be our careers down the drain." He spat.

"You can't let that happen." He chokes out.

He let the person go, who struggles to let air back into his lungs, "I won't. I will handle Rebecca Armstrong. Meanwhile take care of Chankimha." The man says, his face full of pure hatred.

"What do you want me to do?" The man asks breathless.

"Do I need to spell it out to you? She will never stop looking for the truth about her parents, you need to get rid of her." He says walking back to his car.

The person left standing looks at the retreating figure with pure agony and fear. If evil had a face that would be him, he thought.

Back at the hospital, Richie was pacing back and forth. At one corner sat all of their friends, Freen sat at the other, looking totally lost. She had been crying non stop and somehow the sobs subsided. She was too tired to even cry.

Aunt Rhea came in followed by two other people who looked equally worried.

"Where is she?" Rachel asks coming to face Richie.

"I don't know." He said and paused looking at Rachel and then at Robert. Who clearly didn't look too good. Was he sick or something? He thought the same as Becky.

"Richie?" Rachel's voice brought him out of his thoughts.

"She left the hospital soon after. She didn't go home. Hadn't called any of her friends. So I don't know." He said lowering his head in defeat.

"Did she take anything with her?" Robert asked, his attention on Freen now, who was only partially aware of what's been happening in the room.

"Freen?" Irin called trying to get her attention.

Freen was drowning in her thoughts, having no idea what she was supposed to do.

"No. She didn't. All of her things are where they were." She answered now looking between the two new figures.

All of them looked equally heartbroken, but none could compare to how Freen was feeling. She royally fucked up.

"Can I talk to you alone?" It was Rachel.

Freen just nodded before following Rachel out of the room, who gestured to Robert to follow them.

"What the hell happened between you and my daughter?" Rachel asked, or more like demanded. Freen expected as much.

"You know what happened." She said before turning her gaze to Robert, "At least you know, you told her the truth and she told me."

"What did you do?" Rachel asked, her voice pleading, so defeated, so broken.

"The biggest mistake of my life, I pushed her away."

"How could you?" Rachel accused.

"Don't you fucking dare!" She spat. "I had no idea, none. All these years, I felt like a fool. I felt so broken. I didn't know how to react. What was I supposed to do? All I saw when I looked at her were my dead parents. And you.." She took a step towards Rachel pointing a finger at her. "You welcomed me with open heart, when I started here. You helped me every step of the way. I thought you were a good person but all of it was to ease your guilt. You betrayed me."

"I understand that you felt betrayed. But Freen you took it out on the wrong person." Robert said, his expression calm.

"Do you think I don't know that?" She said shaking her head frantically, trying to swallow her sobs.

"I wanted to talk to her, make things right. But it never felt like the right time. I so desperately wanted to apologize, I didn't know how to after what I have done." And just like that the little control she had was lost, loud sobs erupted from her, tears streaming down her face.

"This isn't the time to throw out accusations. We need to find her." It was Aunt Ruby who came out of nowhere. "If she didn't take anything with her, left all of a sudden then with her history..." She didn't dare finish her sentence. "We need to find her right now."

Freen didn't want to believe what she was implying to be true. No! She had to believe Becky wouldn't do something drastic. She can't lose her, not like this.

"Do you have any idea where she could have gone?" Rachel asked, her voice thick with emotion.

"There is one place." Freen said, not sparing another glance she ran out of there.

Becky has to be there. With what little hope she had left, she rushed out of the hospital to the place which Becky once called theirs. The old mill wasn't there anymore, but it was going to be their home, she had to be there.

Becky was devastated. She reached a point where she felt almost numb, the tears stopped, her throat closing up. She had no idea where she was going, until she saw the trees and realized she was going to the one place she felt safe, happy.

She got out of the car and walked the path, unlike other times when she felt free, all she felt now was pain. She saw the single wall still standing, which took her back to that night. The night she finally felt that she belonged, she belonged with Freen. The day she felt she was wanted, the day she dreamed of a future for the first time. Freen had proposed and that was the most happiest day of her life. And somehow on the saddest day of her life she finds herself at the exact same place.

She didn't realize how long it has been since she had been sitting there. Infront of the wall, leaning against a really old oak tree. Somehow she felt peace. But sudden footsteps brought her out of her daze. There was only one person who knows about this place and it was the last person she wanted to see right now.

"Please leave me alone, Freen. I don't want to talk to you let alone see you." She said not sparing a glance, but the footsteps didn't reside instead it got closer. She huffed in annoyance and anger and looked back, but instead of the brown eyes that she adored the most, it was pitch black that stared back at her.

"What are you doing here? How did you find me?" She asked, when the figure towered over her. Suddenly this didn't feel right. And the next thing she saw was pure darkness.
