Baby Sua || Straykids Family Fic

~chapter 10~

Hyunjin and Jeongin came in from outside, bringing in the cake and desserts and sitting them on the dining room table. Probably one of Hyunjin's favorite rooms because of the tall glass windows surrounding it, which showed out to the backyard. It was beautifully natural-lit during the day.

"Wow," Sua said as the guys started to pile into the room, still resting in Han's arms. Hyunjin turned around to her, her eyes lit, looking at the table with more animal themes. She really loved animals so much. They always seemed to grab her attention, even when she was a baby. They all started to find a place, Han putting Sua in the high chair supposedly next to the chair he was going to sit in. But of course, Hyunjin managed to slip his way in before him. Han laughed it off, letting him take the seat while Minho placed her plate on her tray and gave Han his. Chan called for Seungmin, taking Yejun out of his arms to feed him. Changlix followed behind.

The dinner went smoothly; everyone found something to chat and catch up on. They all had hectic lives. Laughing at the messiness of the babies, Sua devoured her food within seconds, and Chan immaturely played with Yejun. Han tried to keep a smile on his face, giving the news of his pregnancy still in the forefront of his mind. He needed time to process. It helped to watch the smiles on everyone's faces, adoring his little girl.

It made him want to meet the little one already. But he couldn't help but worry about Minho sitting beside him. And that's where the doubt centered from. He knew he loved Sua more than anything; he knew it. But they've never discussed more children, especially not so soon. He couldn't help but fear the worst.

"Hey, are you okay??" Minho softly whispered by his ear, rubbing his thigh. Of course, he would always notice when he didn't feel okay; even if he tried to hide it, he could always tell. Han nodded his head, trying to avoid his eyes, which didn't help ease his mind.

"Why are you ly-"

"Oh, you're finished," Hyunjin said, wiping her mouth with a napkin.

She happily nodded, "Daddy, I'm finished." She continued looking up at him.

He looked back at Han, who still made a desperate attempt to avoid him, before smiling and looking over at Sua. "You are, time for cake."

"Cake!" she excitedly yelled, growing restless in her seat.

Jeongin exited the table first. Going to grab the candles and matches from the kitchen. Before returning and placing them in the cake. Hyunjin helped pick up the plates that were used and get new ones for everyone. Minho also got up, pulled Sua from her chair, and sat her on Han's lap. He blinked up at him as he wrapped around, sitting back in his seat. Jeongin finished poking the candles through the cake, lighting them, and slowly pulling it in front of Sua.

She tensed a little, having so many candles lit in her face, but quickly relaxed as everyone started singing Happy Birthday to her. It was such a sight. Having everyone standing around the table singing for her with her humming along to the tune. Of course, Han couldn't help the tears that formed in his eyes. He was just an emotional wreck today.

Her little claps after they finished, closing her eyes to make a wish. Before leaning in to blow them out. "Dada, help me," she frustratingly said after struggling to get them to blow out. Han giggled as he leaned in and helped her. Everyone congratulated when they blew them all out. Sua continued her little claps as Jeongin turned on the lights.

Minho stood up and grabbed the knife, cutting a piece for Sua. Placing it on the plate in front of her. He laughed at her excitement, almost shoving her hands into the piece before Han stopped her. He sat her sideways on his lap, picked up a fork, and helped feed her a bite. Her little mmms just like Minho would do after every bite. Pushed him over, the tears slowly falling down his cheek.

"Is it good??" he choked, smiling down at her, enjoying every bite. She nodded her head, looking up at him, her smile instantly dropping when she saw his tears.

"Dada," she smally said, raising her hand to his face before hugging him tightly.

"I'm okay. I'm just really happy," he explained, brushing away his tears and kissing the top of her head.

"Sua, wait till you see how many gifts you got," Hyunjin said in between bites of his cake. She softly peered her head from her chest.

"We all got you so much," Chan chimed in as he gave Yejun a bit of cake. Which made her pull her head more, but she still pouted, thinking of Han crying.

"And you get to see our surprise for you," Minho smiled as he tickled her back, already moving through his third of the pudding treats. Han picked them perfectly. This definitely got her attention; she'd been excited about it all day. She looked up to Han again, who seemed to calm his tears as he smiled down at her, nodding his head.

She turned in his lap and turned to Minho. "I want to see," she smiled, grabbing his arm.

"Okay," he smiled back, giving her a spoonful of the pudding before putting it down. "Go with Uncle Hyunjin to the living room," he told her as he lifted her from Han's lap. She quickly ran over to Hyunjin, pulling his arm towards the door. He giggled as he ran out with her, Jeongin giggling along with them. ~~
