The start of the third inning was processing. Team JYP was up by two total runs, with BigHit still looking for a score. Surprisingly, Chan didn't find himself bothered by the seemingly endless run of the game or the fact that he found it far less entertaining than an average Soccer game.

Instead, he found himself anticipating Seungmin's return, scouring the field for him, hoping to catch even the tiniest glimpse of him. He suddenly got over excited and actually into the game whenever Player 11 came out, and he lost that excitement just as quickly when he left the field.

"Okay, the start of the first half of the third inning, and Team JYP is at bat," Seungkwan said through the speaker.

"Is player 11 stepping up to the bat??" Dk questioned, watching as he walked from their dugout onto the field.

"WAIT HE'S A PITCHER?!?" Hoshi surprisingly yelled as he assumed his position on the plate.

"HE'S A PITCHER!!" Dk sarcastically yelled back at him, laughing at his expression. "With a pitching average around 94 mph," he added.

"But guys, we're talking about Kim "Unstoppable" Seungmin here; his batting average is .350."

"Batting three hundred and fifty!!" Hoshi shockingly repeated.

"Uhuh, and his AB/HR is 10.55."

"Damn." They both disbelievingly let out.

"Hey, they don't call him Unstoppable for no reason," Seungkwan proudly said.

"You're literally the only one who calls him that," Hoshi laughed.

"And look how fitting it is. Other generations had their number 3 and 42, but we have our Player 11. THE KIM "UNSTOPPABLE" SEUNGMIN!!"

Chan was on the edge of his seat as he watched out to the field. His eyes overly examined every little movement of his—the small way he repeatedly touched the cap to the plate as he fixed his grip around the handle, the way he rocked his body vertically to find the proper footing—he was invested. He nodded to the pitcher as he pulled the bat up to his left shoulder, throwing a quick practice swing before returning it to his shoulder.

"God, isn't he so cool??" Changbin admitted he was just as eagerly waiting for his play.

"He really is," Chan impulsively replied. Felix and Changbin both snapped their heads at him. Practically leaned over one of the children sitting in front of him. They both smirked at each other before looking back at Chan.

"Number 13, Choi Yeonjun is ready to pitch." They called out. Yeonjun nodded at the umpire before forming his position, drawing up his right hand and left leg.

"Strike!!" The umpire called.

"One strike," Seungkwan repeated as they threw the ball back to the pitching position.

"WHAT!! He didn't even swing," Chan yelled, looking over to Changbin, who was the only one aware of how the game actually worked.

"Relax, he always has a plan," Changbin laughed at him. Honestly, he was just happy to see him into it, regardless of whether it was only for Seungmin or not.

"No way he strikes out," Hoshi surely said.

"Yeah, no way," Dk replied, a little less sure than Hoshi.

Seungmin smiled as he tautly pointed his bat out to Yeonjun before finding his position back on the base. Again, the small taps of the bat against the plate and rocks of his body as he brought it back to his shoulder. He squinted, looking out to him as he watched for his signal. That first throw told him everything he needed to know about him. Yeonjun nodded his head, like before bringing up his hand and opposite leg, preparing for his throw.

"HE HIT!!" Seungkwan yelled, hearing the ball clink against his bat. Seungmin quickly dropped his bat and started running out to the next base, and so on and so on.

"Omg, that's coming towards us," Felix exclaimed, watching the ball fly towards them.

"Fuu-" Chan yelled, biting down on his bottom lip.

"HOME RUN!!" The three announcers yelled.

"Wait, guys, I think someone in the crowd caught the ball," Dk said, looking at the commotion directed towards the crowd instead of the field.

"CHAN YOU CAUGHT THE BALL!!" Changbin yelled, turning to look at him.

"Yeah, without a glove. Are you okay??" Felix concernedly asked, watching him cringe in pain.

"Y-Yeah, that hurt like a bi-." Felix quickly smacked the back of his hand on his shoulder, insinuating to the children seated right in front of him. "Hurt really, really bad," he corrected.

"Dude, you're a legend," Changbin laughed, his face still in shock.

"I'm literally not," he laughed at him. Do you want it?" He offered, stretching his arm out to him. He knew he'd definitely want it way more than he did.

"No, you caught it. This is your moment," Changbin smiled, pushing the ball back to him.

At this point, Seungmin finally returned to home base, securing another point for Team JYP. He huffed, crunching over as he successfully touched fourth base. Quickly catching his breath, he pulled his head up and looked out to the crowd, looking for the person who had caught his home run. He lifted his hand over his eyes as he looked out to the crowd. Everyone pointed towards the section Chan was sitting in.

"Chan," Changbin called, reaching his arm back for him. He was letting all the kids touch the ball. "I think he's looking for you," he said, frantically shaking his leg.

"What. Who??"

"Kim Seungmin."

"Player 11!!" he shouted, looking up to him pointing out to the field. He looked to the point. And there he was, down on the grass in front of their sections, smiling up at them.

"Stand up," Felix smirked at him, pushing the back of his shoulder.

"Me!! Wh-What," he nervously stuttered.

"Let me see," Felix said to one of the male students holding the ball. He took it from him and placed it in Chan's hand. His eyes grew, and he looked up at him, staring at him with a sly smirk on his face. Now stand up," he softly said, helping him up. He inherently tried to mumble something to him before Felix manually turned his body towards the field.

"Guys, look!!" Hoshi said, smacking Dk's shoulder.

"I think that's the guy who caught the ball," Seungkwan added.

"Is he okay??" Dk wondered.

Chan felt nervous as Felix held his body from collapsing underneath him. Everyone in the stadium was staring at him: all the players on the field, the noisy sports announcers and their quiet murmurs echoing around them, Changbin and his team—everyone. But what made him incredibly nervous was Seungmin smiling up at him.

"Take a breath, hold up the ball, and smile," Felix whispered behind him as he pushed up his hand. Chan nodded his head, doing what he said and taking a deep breath. He didn't even know him and would never see him again after the game; there was no reason to be this nervous.

He still couldn't fight the blush on his cheek as he held up his right hand, burning brighter as he waved at him with his opposite hand. Seungmin continued to smile up at him, taking his hand from his face and smally waving back at him. He dramatically pulled his arm in front of his stomach as he bowed to him.

"A moment for the history books," Seungkwan said as the entire stadium started cheering for him. Chan equally bowed back to him as Seungmin brought his body back up before he returned to his dugout.

"I'm so jealous of you right now," Changbin jokingly laughed as Chan and Felix sat back down.

"Literally, what just happened?" Chan said in disbelief, failing to wrap his head around it as he leaned back in his chair. The three laughed at each other before turning their attention back to the field. ~~
