Three weeks later.

Singhania Textile and Jewellery Industries, New Delhi.
6:00 PM.

Shaina Singhania.

Stressed. Annoyed. Regret.

I made the same mistake again.

Signed Natasha Dalel. Once again!

And that bitch ditched us in the last moment to walk for someone else. More precisely my head-on rival.

We have the final photoshoot lined for tomorrow and she is not in the damn country. Tried to reach her out but to no avail.

At this point, I do not have a model who can show up for my photoshoot and walk for the motherfucking collaboration, which is lined for the day after tomorrow.

SHE FUCKING BREACHED THE CONTRACT ONCE AGAIN!

And where's Siddharth? I have no idea. Yesterday, I got to know about Natasha's shenanigans because the management couldn't finally handle it on their level.

Siddharth's disappearance led to chaos because I let him lead this. Everyone's talking and I see distrust, to his power and authority within my own people because he very conveniently walked over all of us.

He's going to pay.

All that affection and pity I felt for him three weeks ago on my engagement vanished in thin air when I realised he might have double crossed me for that scoundrel of a woman.

"What's the status of Natasha's legal notice?" I asked Mridula as walked out of the meeting room. Because of one collaboration I cannot let the whole business suffer, of course I have other things to handle.

"It's mailed to her and a copy of it on her doorstep has been sent. And the legal team got a court order stating she cannot walk for any event big or small sponsored by an Indian company till we sort our dispute with her." She answered and satisfaction washed over every pore of my body

"She must be on her flight back because she cannot appear for the fashion show sponsored by Barua's, anymore." She added and I nodded.

"Are we able to find a model?" I asked her and she nodded negatively
"All responses are negative because most of them are signed or the dates don't match." She answered and I gritted my teeth

"Then, what do we do? I open the damn show?" I asked her in a tone that was low enough for anyone to think I'm calm like an ocean but she knows better.

"No, Maha Sultan might accept our offer." She said and I nodded.
"Increase the stakes. If she wants to negotiate any term. Accept it. I want her to walk for me." I said

"Actually, line my meeting with her."
"Today?" Her screeching voice had me stop in my path and look at her with crooked eyebrows

"It's late evening, Shaina. And you've not left the office since yesterday."

"So? Do I go and have quality time with my family when everything we work hard for is at stake? Do as I say." I said leaving no room for argument and she gulped

"Shaina you're already late-"
"Mridula, don't make me repeat." I warned her and she vigorously nodded

"I'll see if Maha is free." She mumbled and I turned back on my heels to head back into my cabin
