Shaina Singh Shekhawat.

"Bhabhi, we have a flight in roughly two hours. Take some rest." Kyna said once she was sure I was comfortable in this hotel room which was surprisingly not decorated like it's for a newly married couple.

"Yes." I told her and she blinked before she took me in a bone crushing hug, "I know it's hard to go to a strange place to live with known strangers but I still want to tell you that I am there for you." She spoke tightening her hold me

"I'll be there when you need a hug, I'll be there when you need a friend or when you just want tell someone how much of an asshole my big brother is." She assured which made me hug her back after a hesitant moment

"I really needed it." I told her and kissed her on her hair. She giggled as we broke the hug

"Don't make me blush now." She waved her hand in a dismissive manner and we shared a laugh

"Also, being a princess I'm not to use crude language. Keep it a secret." She informed me and I blinked at her

"The fuck?"

"Well, future queen of Rajasthan I curtsy to every word you say" She curtsied to me, "but you're not allowed to do that anymore." She said and winked at me. I am definitely doing it more often.

"Why?" I asked her and she placed her hands flat on her stomach looking as elegant as ever like she didn't have a long day herself

"Royal etiquettes, that shouldn't be questioned." She said and I blinked at her in astonishment. My foot.

"Good night." She said and I just nodded in acknowledgement. Just as she left I kicked my heels off.

I walked over the dressing table dragging my long veil and heavy lehnga over. Slumping down on the ottoman stool I unpinned my veil from my head and let it slip from my head to my shoulder adding length the cloth on the floor.

After that I was quick to undo my earrings before they slit my earlobes. I leaned closer to mirror to see if my ears were swollen but thanks to numbing cream they weren't. Not a lot at least.

I took my hand jewellery off apart from my bangles and ring, then I freed my neck from my choker necklace. If I ever get to marry again after divorcing this man, it's going to be a fucking court marriage.

Then I took the longer one out which hung till my midriff and just as if went out my wedding chain came in contact with my skin making me aware it's ignored presence

I spared it a look and now that I notice, it looks good, no matter how much of a burden it feels like, it looks good. Just small, minimalistic and easy to carry.

He stepped in the room and I noticed a platter in his hands, I could barely make out what sort of clothing it was but it was blood red and few jewellery over the red clothes

Our eyes met through the mirror and for the first time I noticed that my eyes were a little puffed probably from crying.

I slowly withdrew my eyes from his and unpinned my mangtika and let it fall in my hand.

"We have a flight at six." He told me what Kyna already did but more precisely and I nodded without letting our eyes meet

"You've to wear this saree." He added and my eyes snapped up to meet his in absolute shock.
