Enraged and quick in motion, the young Lycan prowled with bared fangs towards a positioned warrior. The distance between us was not short, causing me to have insufficient force as I jumped towards the side of her body. Both of us rolled and stumbled from the weight I brought. My quick response allowed me to regain balance and press my paws on her neck. It was already too late. She was quick to react before I could add any pressure or heavy force. Managing to claw the side of my neck in a split second. Fur danced around the breeze as red painted the pavement drop by drop. A writhing sting sent a message that it was no small cut. Far from it. Heavy bleeding was evident even just by telling from the corner of my eye. At this rate I'm sure simply forcing my opponent into immobilization is near impossible. Knocking her out would also be difficult. Requiring some time and well strategized planning as well as a lot of assistance. Which meant that people will be in harms way the longer we keep the unknown wolf rampant.
My quick healing would have been a trump card that would allow me to be reckless in immobilizing this Lycan if it weren't for well, the Lycan. Our elongated claws are much sharper than any other. An ideal weapon for a cleaner and quicker cut. Quick enough to trick the cells into thinking that the body is uninjured, in which it does not perform its work. Once it realizes that there is injury, the victim will already lose much blood or may be weakened in the process.
It is only now that I felt annoyed of my own gifts. Which I also plan to use it against this young Lycan. It may be too much for me, but this is the only way I can think of at the moment. I'll draw as much injury until it weakens her. At least until Connor arrives with the item I asked him. Goodness may the scene I'm about to create not be seen by the young ones. My fangs did the bidding, puncturing flesh in certain parts. I still managed to avoid critical areas. But no matter how much wound I inflicted and blood drawn, her rampaging behavior was still the same. Does she not get tired because I certainly do. And my body is aching for me to at least take a break from getting more cuts and bites. It was getting worse and worse by the second. I can tell from the spectators that the sight in front of them is beginning to become too much even for them. Heck even for me it was. I don't even think anyone could tell or see what color my fur is underneath my damp blood. "Alpha, the Gamma has arrived." At last.
"Sorry it took so lon-"
"No time. Sedatives now please." Another warrior would have been sent flying if I didn't lessen the impact just in time. The Lycan must have noticed that I was buying time or that it didn't want to play with me anymore. We've been going on like this for what feels like an hour. Connor drew close but far enough to stand behind the barricade the warriors formed. "This is a gaseous sedative. Five times more potent than what we inject. If we open it now, you'll both get knocked out." He warned. I couldn't care any less. Who would say no to nap time anyway. "Fine by me. Just do it quick. I'll do my best to stop her from moving. Get ready." He acknowledged and with a nod came three others who surrounded us. I caught the nape of the Lycan's neck. With all my might I turned around and slammed her body hard as gas was being sprayed from all four sides. She struggled under my mouthy grip while I struggled to keep my balance. My eyes dared to shut but I couldn't afford to unless this Lycan is down. The next thing I knew I was dreaming already. Kyro caught me in his arms, telling me to -whatever he said in a soft voice.
Or I might be hallucinating. I'm sure I still have the Lycan's skin to my mouth. Never intending to let her go. Everything that happened could have been a dream as I woke up on a bed. My bed. In my house. With very clean paws and. . . my favorite blanket in my mouth. No wonder my tongue felt like the desert. Confusion struck me. Did it really happen or was it some realistic dream. My entire fur was clean! Mom and Dad left for a trip. In no way did Connor nor Adrian clean me, they wouldn't even think about putting me on a bed. They would rather leave me where I was last.
