Chapter 77

It's the next morning. The house felt silent, I don't like it at all. I then woke up to Duke by my side. I woke up really early for absolutely no reason. It's ridiculous. I then went downstairs because I just couldn't sleep. I then walk downstairs and sit on the couch with my phone just scrolling on my socials. I then hear footsteps come downstairs and it was Duke. When I'm not in bed with him, he gets worried and he starts to look around. He then wears his robe and walks downstairs and sees me on the couch.

Duke: Why d'you leave bed fah?

"Just wasn't tired that's all"

Duke: What happened?

"Just the shit with Fanum and his girl, Callie being near labour and our wedding being in a few weeks it's just all stressful you know"

Duke: Bae, you've got nothing to stress about. Ammi's gon find her way back and she gon bring them kids too and also she's going to forgive him and we'll be good. And also the wedding is said and done we've got it handled don't trip. And Callie will be okay.

We then hear screaming from upstairs. I don't know what is going on with me and Duke lately but we've been looking and saying things like it's going to happen and then the next thing you know, it's happening. Like what in the actual fuck.

"I recognise that scream Duke"

Duke: Me too and it's coming from Agent's room.

"Callie's in labour"

Duke: Fuck.

We then see Callie being carried by Agent whilst waking down the stairs.

Agent: Callie is about to give birth. Please help us take her to the hospital.

"We got you let's go"

We then went to the car as fast as we could and then Duke decided to drive so we then went in the clothes we were already in which was bizarre because this is early in the morning. Callie looked so pale and all she could do is scream and shout.

We then arrive there after 30 mins and then we get to the reception with a hurry and then Duke was left in the car to find somewhere to park as we couldn't stay at the entrance bit.

"We need help! My friend here is in labour and she needs a midwife asap"

Agent: Thank you Dest.

"No problem, anything for y'all"

Callie then kneeled on the floor and started to cry in pain. Agent was there on the floor with her and started to caress her hair as her head was on his shoulders. Midwifes came storming in with a bed and some clothes for Callie to change in. She then gets on the bed and gets changed in the clothes when in her hospital room.

I then stay outside of the reception to see if Duke was going to come on time. I then decided to go and give the doctors some admin information about Callie and all and they said their thanks and Duke came rushing in and he looked at me and looked everywhere to see where Agent and Callie were.

Duke: Where are they? Are you good?

"Yeah I'm okay, Callie went to go and deliver the baby now. We can't be in there though. Only Agent"

Duke: That's understandable.

"Right"

We then went to the floor they was in and then we sat outside their room. The rooms were soundproof so we couldn't hear when Callie was screaming when she was delivering which was good. We waited for hours and hours for them to tell us to let us in. Me and Duke were hungry so we decided to go to a cafe in the hospital. We then walked and talked whilst going there.
