After only a few minutes, we slowed down to a stop, landing on the ground outside of Wasp HQ, we appeared to be at a regular office building, but that wasn't HQ. We changed out of our combat gear, I'm now wearing my skirt and crop top, kirk wearing jeans and a white t-shirt.

I scanned my hand on a hand scanner cleverly hidden behind a pillar as the floor to the right of the office building's main entrance transformed into a staircase leading down, we walked down as the stairs returned to the floor.
We greet the rest of the faction in the cafeteria, everyone's eating, I and Kirk sit across from each other, I had a healthy meal, just some salad and apple juice, both of which I made myself, and some potato salad, I ate a forkful of lettuce, tomatoes and salad dressing before speaking.

"It's hard to imagine that only like- 10 years ago we were still living in the past, no futuristic machines, no hivemind goo destroying everything, none of this, Quebec used to be so nice." I say.
"Guess those weirdos back a few hundred years ago weren't so far off from flying cars and cyan lights everywhere." I joke to myself as I take another fork of salad.

"So, what'd we get from the factory?" Kirk asked.

"Info, a lot of it." I say as I scan my bag for the folder of papers I printed,
I find it and place it on the table, the folder is packed, looking like it could fall apart any second

"Turns out the dude really didn't have bad intentions making that stuff, it was meant to get rid of the trash in the earth's oceans and all that, but it went haywire in its beta phase, he had to abandon the idea, but left the vats of NX-5 filled to the brim, and worst of all, not covered up, he didn't even bother terminating the stuff."

"Which is our mission, not just us 2, all of us, everyone from every faction." I smirk

"How do you plan to do that exactly?" Kirk asked

"Follow me." I respond after a short, dramatic pause

We enter a room filled with futuristic guns everywhere, and some other gadgets, I grab an odd Shotgun-Rifle fusion of a gun. It had no barrel and simply a long, vertical slit in the front, the center glowing blue. "why'd you need a sex toy exactly." kirk chuckled. I squinted at him.

"These bad boys pack millions of volts of electricity in one strong current, depending on the gun you use, of course, the things have settings for fire rate, scope, strength, and more, so no external modifications are needed."

Kirk takes one of the guns from the wall as he examines it
"Huh, I don't think I've ever seen something like this." He said as he flipped up a holographic scope, he looked around while looking into it as he saw every living organism through the walls, he pressed a few buttons as it switches from all organisms, to humans, he chuckles

"Wow, this is sick!" He exclaims

"Yeah, just don't use them in here, we'll lose power for months."

"Did you make these?"

"Nope, but a good friend of mine did."

"Who?"

"Her name is Primavera, if you think you know her, you don't."
"Oh by the way, don't be weirded out by her... differences." I look back as I was exiting the room with a bag filled with futuristic guns as I said that, winking, before leaving, Kirk quickly packed his own and followed close behind. As he walked, he found a revolver on the wall, and he stopped. He stared at it for a minute before taking it off the wall. It looked like a magnum 629-4, just a bit bulkier and with a battery, the engraving of a wasp and the word "Stinga" engraved on the barrel and one side of the blue leather handle. He grinned and I spoke. "You can't use that, it's my personal weapon."

"I really do not give a shit, its mine now." He smirked and aimed it, he squeezed the trigger and a bar under the sight charged up, going from red to yellow to green. The battery started to spin and blue sparks shot from the barrel. He grinned again.

"Well, if you don't damage it, maybe Prima could make you a special gun." I add. He nodded and tucked the gun into his pants with a spin, like a gunslinger would.

We exited the HQ as I turned around, Kirk doing so a second later, a figure emerged from the dark office building's main doors, once she entered the light, The two of us got to get a good look at her

She was mostly human, if it wasn't for the fact that she had a peachy-orange Fox tail, brown fox ears, and her lower arms and hands had brown fur, hands being paws instead of actual hands, same with her lower legs and feet, the weirdest part about her were the clothes she was wearing, they were completely out of the current time zone, she wore a mix of a 1900's glittery red dress and a roman empress's clothing, this dumfounded Kirk.

"What is-"

"Shut up." I say as I put a finger to Kirk's mouth
"Hey Prima."

"Hello Noell." She spoke in a much more royal voice, though still with a hint of regularity, most of it was a royal tone, it was odd.

"Sorry if I may be sounding rude, uh."

I mouth "Call her majesty"

Kirk mouthed back "Forget that."

"Sorry if I'm being rude but, how did you make these guns?"

She chuckled "I know much more than I let on."
"And I can only assume you two need my help in taking out that devious goo?" Yep, totally roman.

"Yes Ma'am." I say with a gentle nod

"Lucky for you, I have a plan." She grinned as she whistled loudly, not seconds later a literal flying, futuristic horse carriage, with horses plated with futuristic armor flies down, horses landing on the ground, yet the carriage itself hovering slightly, there are 2 seats in the back, and one outside, but still on the carriage between the carriage and the horses, Primavera got in the seat between as I and Kirk hop in the back, I turn to Kirk
"Before you ask, I know, she looks unusual, that's because she was kinda experimented on in a lab, she was fused with fox DNA and then, just, Set into the wild, somehow, her mind was also set back to the roman empire ages, but please, don't mention any of this, she doesn't like talking about the topic, she also is kind of obsessed with her own body so don't compliment her too much or she'll... get... Yeah, you get it."

"Well, you don't have to worry about that, Fox girls aren't my type." he said with a slight raise of the eyebrow

"Could've been worse, they could've turned her into a full-on anthropomorphic fox." I add. kirk rested his head on the carriage and closed his eyes.

A few minutes go on in silence before I ask. "So, I don't know much about you other than your file?"

"You read my file?" he asked.

"Of course, I did. I wanted to know who I was working with."

"We've worked ops together before, we also went to high school together." he said, eyes still closed.

"But nothing this big." I replied. "So, you?"

He sat up and looked at me. "Where to start. Standard childhood, advanced tech and all that. I studied architecture in university before being drafted into the military. Turns out I could shoot well so I got promoted to some top-level shit. Killed a lot of people. Now I'm here with fox-human hybrid thing and you."

"I saw your file had 768 confirmed kills in the military alone? Hah."

"Probably closer to 1200 by now."

I chuckled and jokingly replied "NX-5 particles don't count."

He grinned and said, "That top level shit won't be in my accessible file neither will most of my kills. It's as easy as breathing when you do it as much as me."

"Oh, trust me, I know." I reply, hinting towards me having a fairly high kill count myself.

"I'm sorry but you don't." he replied.

"What do you mean?"

"You were lucky, you were too young to be drafted. You've killed people yeah, but it's not the same."

"We're the same age?" I reply in confusion.

"The draft age is different for women."

"When did you get Drafted? What age?"

"19." he chuckled.
"Now that makes sense, I started my transition at 16."
Suddenly, a wave of different aromas flooded the air, I peeked out of the carriage and at the ground below to see fields filled with colorful flowers

"Petal valley!" I exclaim happily
"Even this high up, you can still smell the flowers." Petal valleys were a mandatory thing done by the government. As most of the world was polluted and industrial. That age has passed, however due to high demand, they stayed. Everything is green now.

"Oi foxy, how long?" Kirk yelled. I elbowed his arm. His voice wasn't a mean tone though.

"Relax, we're almost there" Her voice was easy to hear, as if she could've been hearing everything we said the whole time. Kirk has his hand sticking out the side of the carriage with a cigarette in his hand. I squinted, the veins on his hand were turning black. "what's that?" I asked. He looked at his hand and said "Nothing." He changed the subject. "So, what's going on with the factions, what support are we getting?"

"Supposedly the whole organization. According to my info Fallens at an old military base, with a load of defense."

"Like?"

"Tanks, chopper, hummers, and a shit load of troops." "And you think some horse carriage is gonna get us around that?" "No" Primavera spoke up "I have something else in store, Sweetheart." "DONT call me that." "Ooooh someone's angryyyyy-" I teased "Shut up." The carriage skid to a stop in the middle of a grassy field as the grass slid open to reveal a large metal platform rising up, the three stepped onto it as it descended, the grass above closing again.
