They turned to see a tall, anthropomorphic female jackalope, wearing neon, futuristic armor and a sort of gas mask over her muzzle, she had a chest, though not much of one, her fur has some sort of neon punk sort of face paint that faded between colors along with her armor, somehow, she held a futuristic lance behind her right arm with a single hand and had a mace hanging from her belt, she jumped up and hung from a street light with her tail

"What are you?" Joie asked

"Oh, this is just my avatar." She tapped her chest twice as cyan pixels surrounded her, then burst out, revealing a human woman around her mid-40's with long, black hair and a very asian-ish body shape, she landed on her feet, her human form wore casual clothes; ripped jeans and a baggy hoodie with Nike black and white sneakers. "Sup." She said

"Avatar?" Kirk asked

"Yeah, you're definitely new."
"Your avatar is just a custom form you get to create in the avatar creation menu, you can only have one though."

"Huh." Joie said

The woman walked around the two, stopping behind them as they spun, she held a remote with several buttons, she pressed one of them as blue pixels formed a sort of black metal crate, she opened it to reveal that it was filled to the brim with guns of all kinds, all looking like odd code-like versions of the real things, no attachments though.

"Take as many as you'd like." She said, Kirk reached for the crate but is startled when a holographic menu appeared in front of him, with boxes with icons of guns in them, each box, below the gun, had an odd icon and the number 0 next to them, presumably the cost.

"Why do we need guns? I don't see any sort of threat anywhere nearby." Kirk said

"Enter metavision" She replied

"Meta-what?" Kirk saw as the once cyan code around him faded purple, several floating bugs and mechs wander around him everywhere, the woman appears in front of him

"This is a sort of alternate view of the world, most threats reside here." She said, The world returned to cyan as the robots vanished. The woman re-appeared back in her jackalope form.

"Here, follow me, I'll get you two set up." She walked off, Kirk and Joie looked at each other as they shrugged and followed

They stopped in a parking lot hidden in an alleyway, but it was empty, The woman walked about halfway down the parking lot before seeming to grab onto a door handle and pull towards her, an invisible door swung open to reveal a large garage-like room, the middle being occupied with what looks like a workshop, the sides branching off into hallways that they couldn't see the end of. She walked in as the two followed her, she closed the invisible door to hide their location, inside the garage, Joie and Kirk heard, from one of their ears, a broken static before it cleared to reveal Noell's voice
"Hello? Can you hear me?"

"Noell! Yeah, we can hear you! What's up?" Kirk replied

"I managed to tune into the server you're in, and you're kinda unlucky"

"What do you mean?"

"There's tunnels connecting different servers in the digital world, you need to get to the main server to get to whatever is controlling NX-5, it looks like the next tunnel is opening just on the border of south America, however there's a large jump you'll have to make, you have about 2 days to make it, you should probably" Her speech then became incomprehensible for a short moment. "Got it?"

"Yeah Sure."

"So, you need to get to the next tunnel, huh?" the woman asked, Kir nodded in response, the woman smirked as she handed Kirk and Joie a large remote with a single, large red button in the middle and a red antenna sticking from the top, Kirk took it and pressed the button as he was transported to a large room made of green code, there was a large menu in front of him with some tabs at the top with different icons of car parts and a Lambo slowly spinning in the middle with color options on one side, and pattern options on the other, this was clearly a vehicle creator menu, Kirk smirked as he chose a futuristic motorbike as the preset and got to work.

The bike was based off the ninja H3X. He attached saw blades to the side, added armor, a rocket launcher, and 50 cal. Machine guns on the side. He added a red flame decal to the mat black paint of the bike and changed the tires to thick, offroad monsters; meaning that they will work everywhere. He finished with changing the overall build of the bike. Making it a sleek but armored, 2 wheeled tank.

"Perfect" Kirk chuckled to himself as he pressed the button again as he returned to the digital world, his bike appearing next to him, he appeared in a huge garage, the garage door open, he looked to his side to see that The woman had made a white Lamborghini aventador with cyan highlights, and Joie made an Apache AH-88 with a golden-black detail. These modern attack helicopters had machine guns, 3 rotors and nearly 7000 Horsepower per engine. This one had blades on the sides, poking forwards, the woman poked out of the window "Ready?" She asked the two as they nodded and she drove out first, followed by Kirk and then Joie, Joie flying behind them, high up in the air. Kirk sped up to match speed with the woman as he drove beside her "Never got your name!"

"Name's Mira! Short for Miracle! Yours?!" She yelled over the wind

"Kirk, other guys Joie!" He responded

"Cool!"

The conversation was cut short when the three heard the blare of a truck horn blast through the wind behind them, Kirk looked back to see a massive truck following them, it was truly a behemoth of a truck, the sides of it slid down as minigun turrets emerged from the inside of the truck and began shooting wildly at Kirk, he grimaced as the bike – excluding the wheels – sprung up, spun around, and went back down, still driving in the same direction, but the guns of the bike now facing the truck, he opened fire on the turret in front of him as it burst into flames, the bike spun back around, but he didn't see that a huge, plane engine-like cannon appeared on the side of the truck, a red ball of flames formed in the barrel as it shot, Kirk swerved wildly to dodge it, the beam of red death sliding up the side of his bike. Deforming the left side.

"Not the bike asshole!" he shouted as the bike spun around again and the front-mounted rocket launcher let fly a heatseeking missile – called the hornets' nest, for good reason. The screaming whistle as it tore through the air was truly awesome. 3 feet from the truck the single explosive split into hundreds of "hornets" that slammed into the cannon on the side of the behemoth big rig. The truck was instantly engulfed in a bright red ball of fire and destruction. The ball engulfed the back half of his bike and threw him off balance in the shockwave.

He sits up as he looks back at the crater that was once an armored truck. "What the shit!"

Behind the smoke and carnage, he saw several apocalyptic-looking Humvees approaching, and fast. Mira pulled up next to him and swung the door open. "Get on!" she yelled, waving towards herself.

"Thanks." he said as he hopped onto the back of the vehicle, pulled an assault rifle off the ground and started spraying them at the army of vehicles behind them, but there's too many for them to take care of, he'd run out of ammo before he got rid of even half of them, he tossed the rifle away as he hopped into the passenger seat through the window, He ponders "You might want to think faster, we're approaching some obstacles!" Mira yelled.

"One damn sec!" He barked in response

"Does this car have any sort of flying mode?"

"Yeah, it does, but the duration is fairly short and it takes a long time to charge back up."

"Don't care, use it in 5 seconds."

Kirk started to count down in his head. Ignoring the fact that death was approaching him at 145 MPH. About 5 seconds pass and on the sixth, Mira pushes a lever forward and to the right, the car jumps into the air as if on a huge car trampoline, the wheels flip horizontally as they emit a cyan glow and the car floats over the huge crater in the road, the weirdest thing about the crater is that it didn't seem to have a bottom, it was like a large chunk of the ground was just deleted, there weren't any cracks, and the edge of the hole had no imperfections. "What happened there?" The car landed as Kirk watched the fleet of cars all try to stop, most falling down the endless pit and the remaining ones honking "This version of the digital world is super unstable, chunks of land vanish and reappear in random places, always different in size and location, they're a huge danger to this version of the world and is why we can't stay in this one, and why the flight mode is such a necessity." Mira responded, panting like a dog. "And just when I thought I'd be safe." Kirk scoffed. "The worst part? There's no warning, it just happens, it's always random, and the chunks, even at smallest size, are huge." She added "Only way to avoid them on the ground is go to the other side." She finished "Oh, fun." Kirk said. "So, we have chunks of land that teleport on one side and killer robots in the other. That's fine." "So if you end up being on a chunk that relocates, you're basically dead. Hopeless, or at least I think." "What do you mean?" "My brother was one of the unfortunate ones that stood on one of the unfortunate chunks, I saw him fall, but I didn't hear him land, in fact, I saw a weird white flash of light just barely, really deep down." "So maybe you don't just fall endlessly!?" She ponders "MIRA!" Kirk yells Mira looks ahead to see a missing chunk, she panicked and pressed a button as the car – and the two – vanish into the other side.
