She wore something similar to the uniform the organization gave their personnel, but this was white with glowing cyan highlights, she didn't have a helmet on, but did come equipped with several futuristic weapons attached to holders on her back, the most intriguing of which being a long, metal pole with a sharp sword blade at the end.

"Sarah?! You look- Where have you- How did-"

"Kirk, calm down, just gimme a hug."

Kirk smiled and hugged Sarah as tight as possible.

"What the hell happened here!?" she exclaimed as she held up his prosthetic hand. "oh, nothing much." he replied, she squinted at him and moved on.

"So is that Entity guy like- the henchman of the big bad or is he the big bad?" Mira asked, cutting off the reunion

"That doesn't matter, just show no fear around him, he'll leave you alone... most of the time." Sarah replied, which is when Kirk saw 3 huge claw marks through the arm of Sarah's armor, showing bleeding cuts underneath

"..Did he do that?" He pointed to the cuts

"Yeah, they should be healed by now but it looks like this realm doesn't allow healing."
"He's the only threat you have to worry about here, though."

"Wait, can't you just enter one of the tunnels when they open to get out of here?"

"You can, but anyone who gets near them vanishes, there's no way to avoid it."

"How do you know this?"

"I had a friend who could monitor what happened to those who returned to the real world." Mira's eyes widen as she looks at her paws, realizing she can't go back to her base, human avatar.
"I can't turn back, is that normal?"

"Whatever you look like when you get to the dark place, is what you will look like from that point onwards. Including the real world, as long as you are using a headset to send yourself here."

"Wait.. Wouldn't that mean that.." Kirk says to himself

"Yeah, I can't leave this place, since I'm dead, I have no body to go back to"

"What?! N-No! I can't let that happen!"

"I don't think there's anything you can do about it."

"Noell, do you have a plan?" Kirk asked, but didn't get a response
"...Noell?" He asked again
"Shit, we don't have a connection to the real world here." He said with a bit of panic as he looked up to the huge tower of code ahead of them
"That must be where whatever is controlling NX-5 is, we should go."

"No!" Sarah revolted as Kirk began to walk, but he stopped.

"Why?"

"We can't take the main entrance, you already know what's gonna happen to us if we do." Kirk looked around and saw that the buildings around them were in the perfect formation to hop across to get to the tower, but to get up to the top will be the issue As he thought, a chain with a blade at the end appeared in Kirk's hands, he looked at the blade, it was essentially a bowie knife on a rope.
"You're not the first being to gain control of the VR world from a mutation in your body." Sarah said
"I heard someone had made a replica mount everest somehwere in here."

"..Alright gang, we have a plan." Kirk smirked The group ran across the rooftops, each having an ice chain blade on hand
 "On my count, toss your blades up at the top balcony." As they ran, Kirk began to count down. "throw!" He shouted as everyone tossed their blades at the balcony, lodging in the walls of the building as they pulled themselves up, everyone made it but Sarah undershot her throw and slammed into the balcony railing, she fell a few inches before Kirk grabbed her hand.

"I've been back 30 seconds and I'm already saving you." he grinned and Sarah smiled. Kirk pulled her up and she mantled over the rail. The group walk into the room next to them, and greeting them.. Was Entity, facing away from them.

"Oh... No.. He's the thing behind NX-5?" Mira asked and Kirk facepalmed

"It's right next to him." Kirk pointed his hands to the server Mira's attention was diverted to a large computer server, this being white unlike the red code like the rest of the realm. 

"Oh."

"Still gotta get through him though."

"Finally, about time! I've been itching for a fight since we got to this shit hole

"It's gonna be tough, let me warn ya." Sarah said as she pulled out the long-handled blade from her back, spinning it around. Kirk closed his eyes and a Viking battle axe appeared in his hand and a cigar in his mouth. Mira just pulled out a semi-auto sniper rifle. Entity turned to the group as he giggled
"Oh, you three are silly, I'm not fighting you!" The world around them seemed to warp into large escape room with several riddles... riddled along the room

"If you escape this room, you move on to the next test!" Entity said as he spun before poofing into a cloud of black smoke.

"That fuck." Kirk muttered to himself as he scanned the room. Kirk got an idea and created a grenade in his hand, he pulled the pin with his teeth and threw it to the corner of the room. the grenade went off with a deafening boom but there was no damage.

"Fuck, he's smart."

"No, it's not that." Mira replied, Kirk turned to her
