I slept peacefully under the cozy warm sheets over me, tail gently swaying as my chest raised and fell at a steady pace, then I woke up, I turned around to see the smile of Luna, still engulfed in a peaceful slumber, she was beautiful when she smiled. I smiled as I gently kissed her on the forehead. "Good morning, beb." I whispered with a smile, I wasn't in Wasp HQ, I was home, actually home for the first time in over a decade, I placed my paw on her face as I caressed her cheek and held her close, being sure not to wake her up, I lowered my paw to wrap around her waist, essentially hugging her, noses and chests touching gently "I love you." I whisper to myself as my smile grew. I looked back to see the bright rays of the morning sun shining through the window, being the only thing illuminating the room, yet still making it warm and bright.

I met Kirk just on my backyard porch, we both sat across from each other at a glass table. I leaned back and smiled "So, how was your first actual sleep in over a decade?" I joke, he chuckled back "I never thought sleep would be so nice." I smile at the response before pulling a pin of the organization from my pocket, it was what all personnel had to wear 24/7 to identify themselves, mine in specific had the regular company logo; each Faction's logo surrounding a circle with a plus sign in the middle, but had the Wasp logo the only one colored, the rest being grey. I look at the pin for a second before smiling and crushing it with my raw strength and throwing it off the balcony, Kirk saw this and did the same, but stalled for a minute as he spoke "So, that's it for the organization, huh?" he said with a half-sullen voice.

"I just thought it would've been better to let fate play out like it should instead of putting hundreds of people with the responsibility with protecting Earth with their lives."
"Better to live the way humanity used to live."

Kirk had turned away as I spoke, hand rubbing the back of his head "I respect you for that." He said as he turned back to me. I sat back down and said "hey um. What was that thing joie told you about?"

He looked away and said nothing. I squinted and he said "nothing to worry about."

"Alright, I trust you, just don't tell anyone about the fact your girlfriends a synth."

"I'm working to solve that issue." he muttered. A moment of silence fell between us as the birds happily chirped in the distance, but I broke the ice "..Hey Kirk?" I hesitated, he looked back "What's up?" "..Do you think that maybe there's more to the galaxy than it seems?" "Maybe there's someone out there with godlike powers just trying to help, maybe the existence of supernatural abilities, anything?" Kirk hesitated for a moment "..I wouldn't pray." He responded with a half-whisper "..Maybe Adri founded the organization for more than just some superhumans protecting the earth, maybe she had some other idea." I continue, Kirk sat there for a second before smirking "Why don't we ask her?" I and Kirk had a nice talk after that, but I was back inside. In my bedroom, Luna still sleeping, I looked to my nightstand and took a photo of my mother, father and brother in a golden frame, I smiled as tears began to stream down my face. "I-I did it, guys... I did it..." I say as I try to hold in my tears, gasping for air between forced laughs. But I couldn't keep the jolly mood, my head fell into my arms as I tucked my knees into my chest and began crying silently "I... did it..." I mutter between sobs and gasps for air. Luna woke up as she saw me crying, and immediately sat up, putting her hand on my shoulder "Awh.. C'mere.." She pulled me down to a laying position, pulled me close, and held me to herself as she pat my head, comforting me as I sobbed into her chest. I didn't want this moment to end, I wanted to stay here, I wanted to stay right.. Here, frozen in time, just snuggling with my beauty of a girlfriend in bed, face planted in her chest, but it ended as quickly as it begun. "Hey, honey?" Luna asked with a smile, I looked into her eyes with tears soaking my face, sniffling, barely able to breathe, but I still cracked a grin "You wanna start again?" She said with a smile, I silently nodded as I wiped the tears from my face

The sounds of machines blazing are heard as a man, unbeknownst to who he is, walks though a huge ship in space, he stops and looks out the window, a hologram of earth, he rests his hands on the table with the projector as he smiles a toothy grin "I found you. Both of you." He chuckled before turning and snapping twice up at someone who was precariously working on a device up high, standing on a thin ledge, she was a short anthropomorphic golden retriever, she wore futuristic armor on her chest, arms and legs, but not hands or feet, she lost balance and fell, the man snaps again and she quickly stands up, saluting at him, sweating a bit "Set a course for Earth-629, pronto." The man demanded as she nodded and ran off, he turned back to the window. "I will find you." He says to himself
