It's been two days since Bethany had gone to work. Since the incident with Nick, Bethany had wanted nothing to do with anything 49ers or football related. However, Bethany realized that she would have to go back at some point and that she has her dream job and she wasn't going to let some disgusting, ego bigger than uhis dick, football player take it away from her. Even though Bethany wasn't able to control what happened to her that night she is able to control what happens from now on.

Walking through the doors was different than before. Normally, it was a refreshing feeling but now it felt suffocating. Bethany walked to her office faster than usual. Getting settled almost immediately wanting to get straight to work and let the editing atmosphere take over.

Bethany opened her laptop to transfer the files for the last player to her IPad so she could get to work. Brock Purdy was the last player she had to edit from the media footage. Bethany had heard plenty about Brock Purdy to know that he was a great player but she had never paid attention to football till the day she walked through the doors of Levi's Stadium for the first time.

Once Bethany transferred the files to her IPad she opened them and was pleasantly surprised.

Ok... he's cute. No. He's hot. Wait. He's... both?

Bethany wasn't going to let herself get distracted by a football player. Plus she has not had a good experience with football players.

But how can someone with that smile be a bad person?

Brock's smile. That was the first thing Bethany noticed about the photo of Brock. It put his whole face together. Damn, that boy has a nice smile. It was inviting. At the club, the first thing Bethany noticed about Nick was how big his ego was... you can't even see an ego. He also had something in his teeth.

Bethany ended up finishing editing all of Brock's media day footage after a little while... it took her 3 hours. It took her an hour and a half max to finish all of the other players. Well, it wasn't her fault. It was Brock's. He kept distracting her. Bethany was making fine progress until she let her curiosity get the best of her.

What if he has a girlfriend?

So of course, Bethany had to check his Instagram.

Yes, Brock's footage took Bethany the longest to edit but it did actually turn out the best. Editing Brock's footage was a lot of fun for Bethany. It was just what she needed coming back to work after everything. While editing Brock's footage Bethany had the album Lover by Taylor Swift on repeat the entire time.

The songs have just been in my head...

Bethany had to lose this crush because this Sunday was the first game of the season and she was going to be on the field. To do her job not drool. If Bethany wanted to be able to do her job well she was going to have to focus... and if she is going to focus she can't be getting distracted by boys.

Bethany had gotten into bed for the night and was just about to put something on TV for the night but was interrupted by a buzz coming from her phone.

She picked up her phone to see that it was an Instagram notification.
