SONG: WOULD'VE, COULD'VE, SHOULD'VE; TAYLOR SWIFT

It's been two months since the kiss after the Giant's game and Bethant & Brock are officially dating.

Bethany felt like she was on a high like Gypsy Rose and she was not planning on coming down from it anytime soon.

It was a bye week for the niners and neither Brock or Bethany had work the next day so the two had spent the whole day together.

A couple days prior Bethany's mom, Sarah, had brought up a family dinner she would be hosting at Bethany's family's home. She said that Brock was welcome as she had been desperate to meet him. Bethany would love for Brock to meet her mom and sister but her dad was another story. He had never supported Bethany a day of her life and Bethany knew bringing Brock home would be a nightmare for her. But honestly Bethany was over hiding her happiness from her own father. So, that evening Bethany brought up the idea to Brock while they were sitting on the couch next to each other.

"Hey, Brock?"

"Yes my love."

Bethany smiled at the nickname. Brock always came up with the sweetest nicknames for her and she loved it.

"My mom is having dinner at my family's house tomorrow night and invited us... do you feel ready to meet my family?"

"I would love to meet the people who raised the most perfect girl in the world."

"You are too sweet."

Bethany pecks Brock on the lips.

When they pull away Brock notices a kind of lost look in Bethany's eyes.

"What's going on in that pretty head?"

This is not the time to blush Bethany.

"It's nothing really... it's just-"

"It's not nothing if it's bothering you Bethany. C'mon you know you can tell me anything and everything."

"I know, I know..."

Brock just looked at Bethany with the most loving and understanding look possible on his face while holding her hands in his rubbing his thumb slowly over them.

"I'm nervous about you meeting my dad..."

"And why is that?"

"He just... I don't know. He hates my passion for video editing and he always blames everything I do on boys but that's not true and I'm scared that if he meets you he's going to say something stupid and that you're gonna believe him and then you're gonna leave me and I'm gonna be alone and no one will love me anymo-"

Brock cuts off Bethany's rambling by gently cupping her face in his hands and pulling her in for a kiss.

The couple just stays like that for a little bit before pulling away for air they didn't remember they needed.

As long as they had each other it was like oxygen didn't exist. Maybe because they were always taking each other's breath away.

They reluctantly pulled away and rested their foreheads on each other with their eyes closed.

Brock eventually pulled Bethany into his arms and she rested her head on his shoulder taking in his sweet and warm scent.

"Beth..."

"Yea?"

"You know I'm never gonna leave you right?"

Bethany didn't respond.

"Hey... Beth look at me."

Brock moves his head so that his eyes lock directly with Bethany's.

"I. Am. Never. Going. To. Leave. You."
