SONG: LOVESICK; LAUFEY

Brock had texted he was on his way about ten minutes ago and Bethany was almost ready. Since her and Brock were just going on a walk she wasn't going to dress too fancy. Bethany settled for her 1989 crewneck and leggings paired with her white high top converse. She put her hair in a loose braid and made sure there were some loose strands. She wore a little bit of gold jewelry to make the look pop and she put a little mascara on and some lip gloss to tie the look together.

As if on cue there was a knock on her front door. Bethany answered the door to see Brock looking way too good for a man in casual clothes. And there was that smile. If Bethany ends up dead one day, arrest Brock Purdy's smile. It is going to be the death of her.

"Hey... you look pretty."

"Thank you! You don't look too bad yourself."

"Thanks. Alright so I figured we could drive to the heart of the city and then walk from there."

"Yeah, that sounds good!"

Bethany locks up her place and then follows Brock to his car. Bethany could tell Brock was nervous about her seeing what he drives. Brock drives a Toyota Sequoia but Bethany didn't care at all. She honestly preferred that he drove a simple car and seemed to live a pretty simple life (outside of football). Bethany thought all football players saw the world as their's with everyone else just living in it. But Brock was simply the opposite. Yes, he was a quarterback but if his name wasn't so big you wouldn't even know.

"Sorry... I know it's not a crazy sports car."

"I don't mind Brock. It suits you.", Bethany tells Brock reassuringly.

The two drove in silence as the drive was pretty short from Bethany's to the heart of San Francisco. That was what sold her on her house. Bethany was able to see all of the beautiful buildings of San Francisco and hear the sounds of the night in the city.

Brock parks close to Coit Tower and the two started walking just going wherever the wind took them.

"So... what got you into editing?"

"Well, when I was in middle school my anxiety started to become an issue. Especially my social anxiety. Sometimes if someone tried to talk to me I would break down. So, I hid from the world. I would come home from school, lock myself in my room, and just edit for hours on end."

"Yeah... I remember I had a bit of anxiety in school too. Wait, so you taught yourself?"

"Yep. I just started playing around with an app I found."

"Wow... that's really impressive. I mean your videos are so good... it's crazy."

"Thank you Brock. I really appreciate it... so. When did you start playing football?"

"Well, I played in middle school a little bit but really started to take it seriously in high school and college."

"Where did you go to college?"

"Iowa State University. You?"

"San Francisco State University."

"Nice. So, you're local."

"Yea, I lived about half an hour away growing up but when I moved out I knew I wanted to be here."

"Yeah. I love this city. I know it's getting a bad wrap but it's so beautiful."

"Yeah, it really is... I wouldn't want to live anywhere else."

The two continue making small talk as they walk around the beautiful city. Bethany starts to feel a little cold and wraps her arms around herself. Brock noticed.

"Here. Take my jacket.", Brock says as he removes his jacket from his body and puts it over Bethany's shoulders.

"Thank you.", Bethany says gratefully as she slips her arms through the sleeves of the jacket.

They end up walking through a park that has a stunning view of the Bay Bridge.

"Come here...", Brock says, holding his arm out for Bethany.

Bethany walks over to Brock as he wraps his arms around her shoulders and pulls out his phone. Brock opens the camera app and holds his arm out taking a .5 of the two of you with the stunning bridge in the back.

You could say this was the picture perfect moment.
