But then I didn't expect there'll be awards in sight
I don't think of it, but my friend says I mightI was using my phone when I was called upon
I was a nominee of something fun
Although I had to walk that carpet looking like lawn
I still enjoyed standing in front of all that genMy name wasn't called a winner
But still, I love the shimmer
I sit back down my seat
That moment does feel so neatI was dancing and dancing
I was already having fun, I forgot about it
But then the song stopped
We all went back to our seats that's upI told a friend to fix my face
It was all sweaty and doesn't look fresh
We went to the bathroom to fix it
Then my name was again called just a bitI was again nervous
Who know? I might again lose
But I think, it doesn't really matter
Thinking of that, I stopped to mutterI was a few yards away from falling
But then she woke me up, told me to walk it
I was a few feet away from winning
But then of course someone's better at picking
