Today is our graduation.

Ang hinihintay namin lahat.

Masaya ako dahil sa wakas nagbunga ang pagsisikap ko makuha lang ang inaasam na tagumpay.

Tagumpay na makuha ang diploma kahit na wala ng award but God is good, he fullfil my wish to graduate with a flying colors and to receive a different kinds of awards.

Pero bakit parang hindi ako masaya?

After knowing that I'm pregnant, lagi na lang ako natulala kasi hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko.

Should I tell it to him?

Magiging masaya ba sya pag malaman nya na buntis ako?

"Hailey Faye Villamore, Suma Cum Laude."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko ng marinig kong tinawag na ang pangnalan ko sa harapan. Kanina pa pala ako tulala.

I proudly stood up, nakita ko rin sa kabilang banda tumayo ang aking ama para sya ang magsabit sakin ng medalya ko.

Mas pinili ko syang si Daddy ang a-attend sa graduation ko kaysa kay mommy dahil baka mag-away lang kami.

"Congrats, anak." Dad said pagka-akyat namin sa stage

"Thanks, Dad." I said bluntly

Sinuot nya sakin ang medal ko saka kami humarap sa harapan para mag-picture. Hindi rin tumagal ang picture taking namin dahil kailangan ko pa magbigay ng speech.

I've been writing it for almost a weeks since gusto ko i-share sa kanila ang college journey ko through this speech.

Nilibot ko ang buong tingin ko sa gymnasium baka sakaling makita ko sya pero na-disspoint lang ako dahil kahit anino nya hindi ko nakita.

I sighed before I smiled to everyone who's here. Tinignan ko ang speech ko at saka ako nagsimula.

"A pleasant morning everyone especially to the faculty members, guests, proud parents and most importantly to my fellow graduates." I started and they all clapped "As we gather here today let's us all marks this day as a new milestone in our lives. A new chapter and a new beginning. Our manifestation now turns to Finally. The cramming, sleepless nights, breakdowns and the moments of self-doubt are all worth it."

While I'm reading my speech memories are started flashing back, the moments I step college. Yung akala mo hindi mo kaya pero kaya mo pala.

College life is like a roller coaster ride.

You'll cry, you'll breakdown, the moments of pressuring yourself.

Dito mo sa college mararanasan yan lahat. You also started to questioning yourself kung kaya mo pa ba or susuko ka na lang but always choose to continue no matter what happened because it's all worth it in the end.

Also picking up a course is the most important thing in college. Dapat senior high ka pa lang, you need to decide a course that you really dream of hindi yung gusto ng ibang tao para sayo dahil talagang mahihirapan ka.
