It's our midterm week already.
It's also been a week since I last saw my boyfriend dahil pareho kaming busy sa pagre-review pero kahit ganun pa man his always updating me he's whereabouts and what his doing.
But still I missed him.
"Hayst!" I throw a heavy sighed
"Ang lalim 'nun ah?" Xyra commented
"Miss ko na sya." Usal ko
"Wala akong narinig." Aniya, halata sa boses nya ang pagkabitter
"Sabi ko sayo jowaan mo yung isang friend nya eh." Ngumisi ako
Umirap sya. "Hindi ako katulad mo tirador ng mga mas bata."
"Bitter ka lang." Tumawa ako sabay tayo
It's just a one year age gap, duh!
Tumayo na rin sya saka kami sabay na lumabas ng room. Today is so exhausted dahil sunod-sunod ang exam's namin kanina tapos meron pa mamayang 3pm until 6.
Instead sa cafeteria kami dumiretso, lumabas kami ng school campus at dumiretso sa pinakamalapit na Dunkin.
Geez, we deserve this and also I missed eating Donuts.
"Hang out daw tayo this Friday since last exam natin yun." Xyra opened up
I nod. "Sino nagsabi?"
"Inah." Sagot nya "Deserve ko ng pahinga."
"Pahinga sa biceps nya." Tumawa ako "Sa mundong nakakapagod sa biceps nya ang pahinga."
She immediately made a disgusted looks, kahit kailan ang bitter talaga nitong kaibigan ko porket wala syang jowa.
I'm sipping with my drinks when my phone ring. Kinuha ko ito at tinignan kung sino ang caller.
It's my mom.
Xyra looked at me. I sighed before I decided to answer her call.
"Mom." Bungad ko
"[ You'll go home later tonight. ] She straightforwardly said [ Walang kasama ang kapatid mo, aalis kami ng Daddy mo. ]"
"Okey po." I said kahit labag sa loob ko
Ayoko umuwi sa bahay namin. I hate it but I don't have a choice. Hindi rin naman kasi pwede nila isama ang kapatid ko dahil may klase ito and I know my brother would not agree, either.
He prefer going to school rather than go with our parents, travelling.
"Ano sabi?" Tanong ni Xyra pagkatapos kong babaan ng tawag si mom
"I'm going home later tonight." I said
"Ohh..." Napa-tango-tango sya
My phone ring again and I immediately smiled when I saw who it was.
"Hi babe." Bungad ko sa kanya
"[ I missed you. ]" Bungad nya rin sakin
I chuckled. "I missed you too. How's exam?"
"[Nah, Basic. ]" Yabang nya "[ How about your's? ]"
"Nah, Basic." I mimicked him
I heard him laughed. "[ Let's date after our midterm, hmm? ]"
Nanlaki ang mata ko at bahagyang napatili. Kinunotan lang ako ng noo ni Xyra halatang nabibiteran .
"I can't wait, baby." Kilig kong ani "I'm so excited na."
"[ Uh-huh? ]" Tumikhim sya "[ Where are you right now? I want to see you, babe? ]"
"Ahm, We're here sa Dunkin." I answered "I'm with Xyra, we're currently eating."
