Be My Apocalypse

CHAPTER 1

 It was one significant evening. I was at a party arranged by the Xavier family — a business partner of my parents. My parents were supposed to attend but something came up so I had to attend in their stead. One thing I can describe myself is that I am not a fan of parties, because I prefer to be tied by underworld business. It was getting boring, until I saw the famous daughter of our rival in business — Ria Vollerei. It was my first time meeting her on person, but I heard she was quite known for her captivating beauty, and her way of doing business. I noticed that she was sitting at the corner alone and somehow, I can sense her calm demeanor and unlike the rumors that I've heard, she is a little quiet today and I haven't seen her socialize. On the other hand, I was the opposite — even if I rarely show myself in public I was always popular and is always surrounded by individual of different genders wanting to have a chance in bed with me. But I can't get my mind off her who was just sitting and drinking quietly in the corner.It was really easy to decide what I will do tonight and that is to make her pay for enchanting me and let her scream my name all night. By any means. And so, I excused myself so I can snatch my beautiful lady tonight.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm afraid I am feeling a little under the weather tonight so I will take my leave now." I told them as I smiled dryly, pretending to be weak while preying my eyes upon the Vollerei's heir.

"What? Are you ok Raven?".

I looked down to see the youngest and most cherished daughter of Rain Zaragoza — one of the best engineers in the country looking like a dog who just lost its master. I felt a chill down my spine by her behavior. I truly hate this kind of girls.

"I'm fine Lady Zaragoza I'm just---" I paused for a second when I saw Lady Vollerei being dragged out by some men at the party. My face darkened at the scene unfolding before me.

"How dare them." I mumbled under my breath.

"Sky? Are you----"

"I'm sorry I really need to go. I'll be seeing you next time" Even if I was disgusted by it I held out her hand and kissed it leaving her blushing like crazy.

I rushed outside only to see neither of those men nor the Vollerei's heir it was as if they vanished through thin air.

"Shit! Where'd they go?"

I was about to go check inside when I heard someone screamed in terror followed by gunshots.

I immediately followed where the sound came from and ended up in the garden. There I was stunned by what I saw.

I saw a dead body and a bloody Lady Ria Vollerei looking coldly while holding a gun as it was pointed to one of the men who dragged her out earlier.

"Beautiful." I whispered to myself as I stood there frozen in place.

"Fancy meeting you here, my fair lady." I said as I smirked at her. I saw her tilt her head and what a sight it was, I saw how beautiful her face was, her red lips, her thick eyelash and her cold stares that could pierce me.

"What do you want?" She asked while trying to intimidate me.

I was pretty taken aback by her question because I don't really know what I want with her. I was thinking it carefully but lust caused my mouth to act faster than my brain.

"I want you." I whispered just enough for me to hear but she looked at me with disgust in her whole face

How embarrassing.

"I mean you know me, right? I can help you with the people that's about to come but in exchange I want you to sleep with me tonight" I knew I was fucked up the moment I dropped those words.

She stopped for a moment and then turned her head onto me.

"Help me? You are aware that I am the Vollerei's heir right? How foolish of you."

I was expecting her to reject me but I was surprised when she pulled the trigger causing the other man who had been listening earlier and was about to escape died.

She's really good with guns.

"Fine then. Just for a night after this let us pretend to not know each other." She said as she gave the gun to me and sat down. I didn't understand why she gave me the gun nor sat down in the dirty earth causing her beautiful dress to be filled with filth but I soon realized when the people at the party came.

She wants me to act as her hero while she acts as a damsel in distress.
