"I want you to investigate on Sky Raven Huxier. I want every information about that woman."

I blinked at him twice. What nonsense is he spouting? It makes me want to kill him on the spot. I was about to get the sword hidden on my back when I felt Harriette's hands preventing me from reaching it. So, I calmed myself  and faced him.

"May I ask why you want to investigate the Huxier's heiress? Did she offend you somehow?" I asked feigning innocence. It feels weird asking what I had done to this man when I'm fully aware that I haven't committed any sin against him, nor did I even talk to him once.

"It's not that she offended me..." he replied. "Or did she? I can't say for sure but I heard a rumor that she is interested with my ex-fiancé, which leaves a bitter taste for me."

Ex-fiancé? He's definitely referring to Ria at this point. But why would he care now? Ria broke their engagement, didn't she? So, what's the point of chasing her now?

"I mean I know you're confused as to why I am demanding information about Sky Raven Huxier."

"Now that you pointed it out. I truly am confused. Why investigate Sky Raven Huxier?"

"I have a bad feeling about her."

This bastard. A bad feeling about me? Yeah, sure he should since I am thinking of killing him right here and now.

"I can't give you any information about her. The Huxier are the highest authority that I don't want to offend by investigating their daughter." I replied calmly as I try to smile at him to contain my anger. "But you can hire another agency if you truly desire her information. Although the chances are close to zero. That's how feared the Huxier are be it outside or in the underworld."

I saw his emerald eyes dropped. "But I can give you parts of information of her. If you tell me what are the authenticity of Ria's twin brother."

"Really?" He asked as if hearing the impossible. I nodded at him. Well, technically it's my information I get to decide what I'll hand to him, and I'm really curious why can't I find anything about her twin brother that is if she truly has one.

"I knew of it since years ago. I saw him one time too, but when I asked Ria who was he, she simply answered that she isn't acquainted with that man. But their resemblance is uncanny. It's like you are staring to a boy version of her. I didn't push more into her after that and drowned myself with work. Years later, I was in a restaurant having a meeting with one of my clients, there I spotted her with that man. When I got home, I was about to question her but I knew she'll deny it once more. So, I didn't pry more into her business. And to be fair, it's not like I had to since we both agreed it was contractual no love involved."

I smirked. Seems like the truth serum added in the tea he drank is taking effect. I signaled the agent by his side to knock him out.

"Get him home." I instructed the agent. "And leave a note telling him to check his email."

"Yes ma'am." The agent --- Michaelis, replied and gave us a salute before getting out with the knocked-out Hades.

I sighed.

"So, what do you plan to do?" I heard Harriette asked. She was now sitting in front of me. Her blue eyes piercing into mine as if she knows I am deep down.

"Nothing."

She sighed. "Truly the reckless one huh? Why did I even choose to serve you?" She stated as if disappointed in me. "But, you're deep down huh? Never thought I'd see the day you'll fall in love, Sky." She added with a smirk on her face.

I kept silent. Love huh? I can't deny that. I know love is a strong word, but that's the only thing I can describe what I'm feeling for her right now.

"Whatever you do remember that you have us by your side. Don't try to handle it on your own."
