Savannah

As Wyatt and I pulled up to the ranch, I jumped out of the truck. I'm still worried for Grace. Ethan and Rogerio are already rushing over to help get Grace out of the backseat.

"Easy, easy," Ethan says, gently supporting Grace's arm as Rogerio helps guide her out. "We've got you, sis."

I hurry to Grace's side, my brow furrowed with concern. "Hey, Gracie, how are you feeling? Do you need anything? Do you want to go lie down?"

Grace offers me a weak smile. "I'm okay, Sav. Just a little shaken up, that's all." She leans on Ethan and Rogerio as they slowly make their way towards the house.

"Let's get you inside and comfortable," I say, ushering them forward. "I can make you something to eat if you're hungry."

As we reached the front door, I glanced back at Wyatt. Who's been uncharacteristically quiet. I can see worry. We've all been through so much together, and I'm grateful to have him here to lean on.

Once we get Grace settled on the couch, I fluff a pillow behind her back and drape a soft blanket over her lap. "There, that's better. Now, what can I get you? Some tea? A sandwich?"

Grace shakes her head. "No, thank you. I'm just tired, that's all. I think I'd like to rest for a bit, if that's okay."

I nod, brushing a stray lock of hair from her face. "Of course. You take all the time you need." I turn to Ethan and Rogerio. "Will one of you keep an eye on her while I get her a glass of water?"

"I'll do it," Ethan volunteered, settling into the armchair beside the couch. Rogerio hovers nearby, his gaze fixed on Grace with a mixture of concern and... something else I can't quite place.

I make my way to the kitchen, Wyatt trailing behind me. As I pour the water, I can feel the tension in the air. "Wyatt, are you alright?" I asked, glancing over my shoulder at him.

He nodded, but he looked worried. "Yeah, I'm fine, babe. Just tired from the last few days."

I get Gracie a glass of water. "Me too. Now, let me get this to Grace and make sure she's comfortable."

As we return to the living room, I can't help but notice the way Rogerio is looking at my sister. There's a tenderness in his gaze that I haven't seen. They really do seem to like each other.

"Here you go, Gracie," I say, handing her the water. "Sip on this and let me know if you need anything else."

Grace took the glass. "Thanks, Sav. You're the best."

I smiled before stepping back to let the others fuss over her. Ethan is already asking if she's comfortable. Rogerio is hovering nearby, his eyes never leaving her face.

Wyatt came to stand beside me, his arm brushing against mine. "I'm really proud of you, Sav," he murmurs. "The way you've been handling everything... It's impressive."

I feel a flush of warmth spread across my cheeks at his words. "Thanks, Wyatt. I'm just doing what I have to do, you know?" I glance up at him, my heart swelling with affection. "Having you here has made it a lot easier, though."

Wyatt opens his mouth to respond, but before he can, we hear a soft groan from the couch. We both turn to see Grace shifting, her eyes fluttering open.

"Gracie?" I'm at her side in an instant, my hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay, honey?"

Grace blinks up at me, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I'm alright, I think. Just a little sore."

Ethan leaned forward with some concern on his face. "Is there anything we can do?"
