"Camila?" She felt herself being shaken awake, and blinked to find Sam standing over her.
Camila flinched, sitting up. "You scared me."
"Sorry, here. Clothes and Kat said you'd want some of this...Im not entirely sure why." He laughed awkwardly.
Camila went through the bag of things he handed her, a bunch of new clothes, a bottle of bubble bath and a couple of things for her skin.
"Why are you being so nice? I thought you people were mean and...more violent."
"Like I've said many time, you shouldn't be here. So, this is the best I can do." Sam said.
"Well, thank you, I appreciate it." Camila smiled, a real one.
"Theres a surprise in there as well, Kat picked it out." Sam said, before bidding his goodbyes and leaving the room.
Camila got curious, dumping out the bag onto her bed and rummaging through the things.
She guessed that the surprise was the piece of red silk clothing tucked under ser everything.
She stood up, holding it by the straps and watched as it fell into an ankle length dress. It was red, with the softest silky feeling she'd ever felt.
It was actually beautiful. But why the fuck did she need it?
She decided to fill in her time by sorting everything neatly and fill up her drawers.
She tucked the dress under neath the rest of the clothes and right at the back of one of the drawers in case Colby were to find it. She didn't want to cross him.
A couple days passed, or well what Camila assumed had been a couple days. Sam had come in a couple times to give her food, and sometimes he'd stay for five minutes to see how she was doing which she was happy for. In some odd way, he was sort of becoming her best friend. That sounded crazy, right?
Like, today, Sam had come into her room with a big bottle of water and some more food and a couple snacks for her. Then, he informed her that tonight was the night of the party, so she should be prepared for a loud night.
Camila felt as though she was slowly going insane. She had reread the book Sam gave her atleast 50 times by now, at night sometimes she'd try and see if she could memorise the lines, and she could pretty easily get through the first couple lines without any 'um's or 'err's.
She needed to leave this fucking room. She couldn't even open the window, and it was actually the hottest shed ever been in her whole life.
It wasn't long before she heard multiple cars pull up into the large drive of the house, and she looked outside the window to find many rich-looking people were walking up to the house dressed in suits and long, beautiful dresses. She admired them and their freedom.
That had actually been the first time Camila had looked out the window, surprisingly. She didn't want to because she was honestly scared of facing the reality of where she actually was, but now that she was looking outside she could see that the house she was currently in was surrounded by nothing.
Well, not necessarily nothing. There were a couple similar looking houses about half a mile away from theirs. But Colbys was just surrounded by grass and trees, it was very secluded.
It just made her feel a hell of a lot worse. If some miracle were to happen where she could finally escape, she wouldn't be able to run down the road that led up to the house without someone here seeing her. All roads that led up to the house were very visible by the house. Great designing, builders never think about possible kidnappings, Camila thought bitterly.
