Making it to the Slytherin compartments without any explosions this time, they looked around in search of their friends and upon finally finding them, slid the compartment door open revealing Francis and Evan. They stopped talking about whatever they were talking about as soon as the door slid open and Evan looked ready to hex whoever disturbed them but relaxed when noticing it was only Florence and Regulus.

" Got room for two more? "

Sliding to the side instead of just taking over the majority of the space as they were earlier, Florence and Regulus took a seat opposite of each other and Florence offered a smile to Francis.

" Good summer Francis? "

" We spent the majority of our summer together Florence, I am sure you know how my summer went "

Florence chuckled hearing that. It was true, with her home so empty because her mother was off doing Merlin knows what, she had invited her friends over often to hang out and also went to their homes as well. Thankfully she had heard that the dark lord was mostly staying at Malfoy Manor according to Regulus so her friends and she could relax in peace. She had also heard however that he would sometimes go around the homes of others and visit them for dinner and such. Florence had luckily never met the man, but Evan had. He described him as a terrifying presence but one who demanded fear and respect.

" Ah yes... all you did was complain about how bad the weather was since you couldn't play quidditch then try and convince me to play with me regardless "

He shook her his head and started to drone on about how quidditch was a sport not meant for the weak and that there were records of people playing during thunderstorms and worse making her tune him out. It was a skill she often used since she was so used to ignoring other people and their rubbish, rubbish which included quidditch based conversations. She honestly could never get into that sport, it was so boring in her opinion. She would much rather be indoors reading a book or playing a piano than watching or playing quidditch. However, when your best friends were part of the quidditch team there was no choice but for her to go and cheer them on.

" Mate, I think you already lost her there "

He finally stopped speaking about quidditch then after Evan said that and instead glared at her noticing she indeed had been ignoring him the entire time.

" Honestly Florence! I cannot understand how you don't like it "

" Hate me for having different interests why don't you "

He ignored her though and instead turned to look at Regulus who had taken out a book to read, deciding to ignore the rest of them.

" You're the star Slytherin seeker and choose to like her? "

She felt her cheeks flush and reached forward to hit Francis making him wince. Honestly, it had been a mistake to tell Evan and Francis that Regulus had asked her out last year since now they would bring it up whenever they possibly could to tease her, but she had been distraught at the time over the confession and thought she could depend on her closest friends. She recalled them both calling her an idiot for rejecting him since she also liked him but she had her reasons. Reasons they also called stupid of course because they were her friends.

Thankfully Regulus continued to ignore them and chose to read his book in silence instead. He was being teased as much as she was in situations like this and she hated it. She didn't want to be a reason for him being disturbed since he was a guy who valued his silence very much, but she was. Sighing, Florence leaned back in her seat.

" And your summer Evan? "

" I spent the entire summer with you and Francis you daft bimbo, why are you asking questions you already know the answers to "
