It was finally time for Hogsmeade and she was thankful she could go outside and buy some sweets from Honeydukes and maybe even get a few prank supplies so she could mess around with Evan.

That definitely had to be one of her favourite pastimes, messing around with Evan to the point he attempted to hex her. Unfortunately for him, she had always been better at duelling and would end up sending him flying back.

Smiling to herself at the memories, she wore her most comfortable clothing, which in all honesty wasn't that comfortable since her mother shopped for her clothes and she always focused more on how it looked than how it felt, and walked downstairs to see Evan and Francis waiting for her. Waving at her, Evan stood up and dramatically sighed.

" Finally Baudelaire, we were waiting forever for you "

She looked at them apologetically and twirled her hair.

" Sorry, I was picking out what to wear and lost track of time. "

Staring at her put together appearance, Francis smiled at her.

" Well you look very pretty "

A statement which made Florence smile and link arms with the both of them.

"Let's go to Hogsmeade then " And she was ready to be on her way before Evan looked at her a bit awkwardly.

" Actually about that... "

She had a bad feeling about what they were going to say and crossed her arms trying to look as severe as possible which was working based on how they were trying to look anywhere but her.

" We forgot to tell you yesterday, but we have detention "

She made quick work to hit Evan with every pause in her word.

" What. did. you. do. "

" Stop it, you mad woman! Its nothing! It's not even our fault, Potter and Black just got in the way of our library trip "

She didn't even want to know further details knowing about their animosity and she sighed, taking a seat in the comfortable sofa in the common room with arms crossed. This was just great. Regulus was out there with some girl probably snogging and she couldn't even go out with her two best mates, how pathetic.

Noticing her frustration, Evan and Francis sat on each side of her and gave her the biggest puppy dog eyes hoping for her forgiveness and seeing it made her want to hurl so she quickly stood up and fixed her clothes.

" Alright alright gross stop that, we will go together next time but until then I will be going "

" Alone? "

Evan was clearly judging her for her choice to go without anyone since it was going to be packed with friend groups and dates which made her hit him again.

" I wouldn't be going alone if my two idiotic friends hadn't landed themselves in detention now would I? "

He rubbed the spot where she had hit him multiple times mumbling something about hippogriff strength making her threateningly flex and make him back away from her and hide behind their larger friend.

Francis chuckled at his friend's antics and said " Come off it Florence, you must have other friends than us and Regulus "

She did have them, people she should not be seen in public with. Florence shook her head and couldn't help but bitterly add.

" Regulus and I would usually go on the first Hogsmeade trip of the year together but some Ravenclaw girl asked him out. "

" You don't have to worry about her Florence "
