Paige POV

The next morning was awkward as fuck. I woke up without Lexi in bed with me and i began to overthink. Maybe she regretted what we did last night.

no..she wouldn't right?

she wanted to do it as much as i did...right?

I woke up brushed my teeth and found a note by her. she had said there was food in the microwave and she went for a jog before going to check on azzi.

i ate, got my things, texted her thank you and good morning before going back to my dorm.

Nika and I didn't really say much as she was just getting ready for our pre game practice as was I. I asked her if she needed a ride to which she said yea and that kk and ice needed one as well.

We all made our way to the gampel. when we got there aaliyah, q, ines, lexi, and coach we're already there.

we greeted each other, well lexi and i didn't really say anything to each other.

I guess everyone could feel the vibe off between us and gave each other looks.

i was chatting and doing a couple of drills with nika and aaliyah whenever lili broke the silence. "okay what the fuck happened?" nika nods her head at the question as they both stare at me.

"what're y'all talking about?" i ask as i shoot an elbow shot and make it. "you and lexi haven't spoken since we got in here. shit y'all didn't even carpool together..." nika points out making me shrug my shoulders.

"she left this morning before me to jog and check on azzi" they both give me a blank stare.

i pass the ball to lili for her to shoot. "don't try to play us paige, we can tell when something's going on" she calls out.

i roll my eyes and shrug my shoulders again. they both stop and walk over to me. "paige, if something happened you'd tell us right?" nika asked me.

"..." i bite my lip before nodding.

they both squint their eyes at me. "okay..." i get called over to the sidelines making me leave them.

"yea coach" he points at azzi as he continues to watch the other girls.

i walk over to her and take a seat next to her. "what's up az?" she hits my shoulders before pointing at alexis. "what the hell happened between y'all? and don't give me an bullshit answer like nothing because i know the both of you like the back of my hand so spill...now."

she gave me a serious face which makes me cave. i sigh before answering.

"we kissed la- what?!" she yells out gaining an audience from the others. i shush and hit her shoulder. "shut up!" she bucks at me.

"if you'd let me finish azzi! i was gonna say we kissed last night after having a sentimental moment. i think she regrets it" i hear a gasp and look up to see nika and aaliyah.

"i fucking knew something happened!" nika points her finger at me.

i groan and hold my face. "oh god.." they both squat in front of us. "go on..continue" aaliyah waves her hand.

"i think she regretted it. she left without saying anything but leaving a note." i turn to azzi and pout a little.

"mhm and do you?" i shake my immediately but get embarrassed at how fast i did it and turn red.

"so you like herrrr" nika says in a singing tone.

"wha- no i don't!" they all groan.

"paige sweetie, as much as i love you but you're so fucking dumb" aaliyah puts her hand on my knee and give me a sarcastic disappointed face.
