"Give me some space..."

Paige POV

I pulled kenzie off to the side to talk to her. "hey kenzie can we talk?" she turns to me and smiles brightly.

she then turns back and looks at alexis before turning and flipping her hair and grabbing my arm.

i slip my arm out of her grasp and walk to an area for us to talk alone. "so what did you want to talk about? wait, i know! you like me and would like me to be your girlfriend! omg yes!" i look at her stunned and shake my head.

her smile drops. "are you scared of what the other girls are going to think about us? you don't have be scared." she grabs ahold of my arm in a 'comforting' way but i move away.

"why didn't you apologize to lexi..." she looks at me confused. "what do you mean- i mean whenever i brought you out to that café, you were supposed to apologize to lexi and not me, so i'm going to ask again why didn't you apologize to her?"

she rolls her eyes and backs away. "she didn't deserve an apology, it was meant for you. your words were twisted in the article not hers." i look at her astonished and take a step back.

"no kenzie, that doesn't matter the 'twisted' words were about her nether the less. so that means the apology should've went to her and not me." she scoffs and steps towards me making me back away.

"she's an attention seeker paige, that's all she is. did she put you up to this? is this what y'all talked about earlier? ugh i should've known that bitch-" i cut her off putting my hand up to stop her talking.

"first dont call her a bitch. second, no she didn't put me up to this, im doing this on my own accord."

"i'm having this conversation with you to tell you that i think we need to have some distance between us. i keep supporting your behavior of you popping up to all our hang outs or getting upset whenever we dont invite you. i barley get to hang with my team anymore cause they all know if i go you'll appear in a matter of minutes.

i just want to have the connection i had with my team back to the way it was. and you being stuck to my hip like a toddler isn't going to cut it. so please after this trip give me some space" and with that i walked off.

i make it back to everyone and see we're about to load back on the bus. i pull azzi back so we can talk. "uh yes paige?" she questions me as soon as she sees who pulled her back.

"i talked to kenzie..." she looks confused. "okay...good for you, um where is this conversation going?" i sigh and rub my face.

"i just technically told her that after this trip that i don't wanna talk to her and that i want my relationship i had with the whole team back" she smiles slightly at me.

"okay, and what else?" i give her a confused face. "you obviously want to say something more than just saying that cause other wise you would've just left it. so what else." i bite my lip and look over at lexi.

"i think i have feelings for lexi and i want to get back to the way we were to have an easier opportunity to confess my feelings to her." azzi immediately started smiling.

"what...?" she smiles more before looking over her shoulder.

"took you a century to finally come to terms that you actually like her, like damn!" she yells out getting the attention of some of the girls.

i quickly cover her mouth and awkwardly smile at them before glaring at her. she just smiles at me with her eyes.

"i'm gonna let your mouth go but please, not more yelling." she nods her head still smiling.

i let her mouth go and see she's smiling hard as fuck. "so what're you gonna do?" she asked and i shrug.

she sighs and thumps my forehead. "damn it paige, you like her and you don't even know how to go bout it..." i give her a 'yea im lost' look.
