The high pitched whistle from the police whistles mixed with the cries and screams of the public filled the sky along with the dark smog that loomed over the town. People running and trampling on those that were fallen in a desperate plea to escape the horror that had just unfolded. Sheer panic had people scattering in every direction many bleeding and injured from the attack.

Buildings had crumbled killing hundreds instantly while the debris injured those close enough to the impact. It had been an attack on a political party resulting to the lives of many innocent by standards.

Officer Charlie Morgan was one of the many officers helping at the scene. The sights he had seen had been something like never before, children dead, mother and fathers crying for their loved ones while others fought to keep alive despite already dying. Officer Morgan along with his colleagues had been hands on to help those they could. Many were already dead and those that weren't were sure to be soon just from breathing in the smoke alone. As he covered his mouth with his jacket in an effort not to breath in too much smoke himself that's when he noticed a woman on the ground, her face cut and her leg too by the look of it.

He noticed some people running over her in a desperate attempt to run away for no one knew if there would be another explosion. Heading towards the woman on the ground officer Morgan checked for a pulse as soon as he was able to shove people out her way. She was alive, for how long though he didn't know.

"Miss... Miss can you hear me!" He asked loudly over the cries of women and screams of others. When she didn't respond he took it upon himself to pull her up into his arms leaving himself now vulnerable to the smoke.

Coughing violently he carried the woman along with the crowd in attempt to get away from the smoke and help her as best he could. He realised she may be dead by the time he got her away, but he had always been a man forced to never give up.

For that he wouldn't.

"I remember this all too well" Lucy smiled from her husbands barber chair as she watched him by the window sharpening his razors. He turned to look at her smiling at him.

"Used to sit and watch you like this, thinking how lucky I was to have found you, the loving husband, a wonderful father to our precious daughter" she continued on with a beaming smile as if those memories had never faded, it seemed she had awoken this morning a new woman. As if the last few days of turbulence in their relationship had never happened.

"My darling Ben you are still just as gorgeous as you were back then" she added which had him smirking a little towards her as he continued to polish his silver. It was funny how Lucy calling him by his old name seemed to be so natural from her lips, he didn't like it still but if it made her happy he was sure not to cause any more upset between them.

"Just with fewer grey hairs" he replied cleverly making her giggle and smile happily towards him.

"Even more dashing" she giggled back before lifting herself from his chair to head towards him. Looking into her dark eyes she found herself staring intently while her delicate fingers brushed softly through his hair.

"I'm sorry I got upset the other day"

Looking down Sweeney was happy to hear the apology yet despite everything he wished that apology was for Mrs Lovett. She after all was the one at the brunt of it...

As if reading him so clearly she cleared her throat before adding "I'll apologise to Eleanore...what I said was out of anger and a little jealousy I won't lie" she added with a smirk while her fingers went to touch at his cheek. "I want to start again Ben...together I think we could be so happy my darling" her words were soft her eyes longing and hopeful at the same time. He felt the genuine warm in her gaze and felt his heart break a little knowing he was still struggling to connect with her again on that deeper level...
